In summary

Durand Eastman Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic setting, challenging layout, and affordability, often described as offering a private club experience at a municipal course price. The course is generally well-maintained, with ongoing improvements noted, such as cart path renovations and tee box updates. However, some visitors report issues with slow pace of play and staff interactions, which detract from the overall experience for certain golfers.

Oh my gosh! I had no idea this gem was hidden by the lake. This is a municipal golf course, but you feel like you're playing on a course at a private club. Soaring Fairways and stunning scenery made the course fun while we remaining challenging. I will be returning as soon as possible! Further, the drainage was excellent. Some of the other golf courses are underwater due to recent rain, yet disc golf course was almost completely dry!

Very nice course! Super hilly and a lot of challenging holes. One of the funnest courses I have every played.

Course is currently in the best shape I've ever seen it. Greens are excellent. Layout is very interesting and a fun challenge.

The staff member on the starter cart had a horrible attitude. He would not stop tailing our group even though we were respectful of the course and other golf groups. He was parked right behind us multiple times (I could reach out and touch his cart if I wanted to) and made several rude comments towards our players. Especially towards my brother whom he would not stop bothering. Even when we tried ignoring him. He also hid behind cattails at one hole and acted like he was trying to catch us doing something wrong so that he could yell. His constant and rude prescience made our day stressful and…

Made a 8:16 tee time, had a long wait on the first hole, ended up teeing off at 8:30. We finished out 18 holes at 2:30. 6 hours to play 18 holes. This course clearly overbooks, and while there was a ranger out on the course to help speed things up, we waited at every single tee box. I would like to say that i would return to this course and play again, but at 6 hours for 18 holes, i think i will pass. The course itself was in great condition. Course itself made you think about where to hit your next shot, so that was very fun and helped pass the time during the round. Gentleman working the pr…

The staff is extremely rude and condescending all the time. Worst staff of all the county courses. We had 3 county passes for the family the past few years, this will be the last year.

Played last week here and it took 4 hours to get through 10 holes and not being dramatic. 6 groups waiting on a tee box. Then this week went to play 9 holes after calling the night before for a tee time, show up and they said they don’t have my tee time and can’t play. Place is a dump, and staff clearly doesn’t care. Save your time and never golf here

Went snowshoeing with the puppy, lots of people, tons of room. It's a great place in the winter for beginner XC skiing or snowshoeing, and good Geocaching all year round

Course is in shambles, no rangers out to force pace of play, took 3 hours for 9 holes, and when we called the clubhouse twice nothing was done about it.
