In summary

Cypress Run Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, scenic setting with mature trees providing ample shade, and a relaxed atmosphere ideal for beginners and casual play. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing patchy greens, high fairway grass, and unlevel tee boxes as areas needing improvement. While some find the course enjoyable and good value for a low-pressure round, others feel the pricing is steep given the current conditions.

Its a nice relaxed round nobody is really behind you rushing you to get through the hole but I will say the price is pretty steep for what you get. It was 19 dollars for 9 holes and all the greens are half dirt. The fairways grass was cut but still pretty high. I would go back for the nice relaxed round but paying the price they ask would defer me.

I’ve been playing golf for 15+ years, and this is probably the worst kept course I’ve ever played. Patchy greens (some even had roots growing through), tall fairway grass that needs mowed, and bare tee boxes just to name a few things. Not to mention, I had an 8am tee time booked, and the gate to get into the property was locked until about 8:10 causing a 30 min delay getting teed off. I don’t think I would play this course even if it were free.

Course was in the worst shape I've ever seen. Most of the greens were burned up with literally no smooth surface to put on. The practice green next to clubhouse was an example of a lot of cracked, burned up greens on the course. I wouldn't play course until greens are repaired to satisfactory condition. Not to mention paid $15 bucks to walk. 👎

What the actual hell. Raised the prices from $16 to $20 when the course was not even worth the $16 to begin with. None of the greens were clean/blown off, or even flat to begin with (Moles). They also had a dog in the lobby who seemed cool at first even though he was guarding the door and then proceeded to try and bite me (they told me it was a rescue so it was ok that it tried to bite me). Don't have your dog who bites people on the property. Would not come back here. Go to Otte or Orchard if you are looking for quality courses for cheap.

Went and played on a Wednesday in late October. The leaves have been falling, which no one can keep up with on the greens, so there are things you expect to see with fall and golf. The tee's had been moved just forward of the tee boxes, and the water hazards were now swamps because it's been so dry this year. The course is a short course with quite a few Par 3's. The greens were still green and played faster than I expected. The rest of the course was in "dry" fall shape. We had a good time golfing with friends and I can imagine that in the spring time when everything is getting water and mani…

Great little 9 hole course. The course has many mature trees, including some old pines, which makes for a lot of shade to play under on hot days. Some nice touches like ball washers, yardage plaques and a diagram on every hole. Very fun worth the drive. Friendly staff.

Nice long 9 hole course. The tee boxes needed mowing but we went through the week and the guy was mowing the fairways so it probably got done. Greens need some work however considering the drought they were soft and slow. We'll definitely be back to play next week.

Great 9 hole course to get out and work on the game. Not very long but in decent shape (feb) but the holes make you think about your shot on most and the price was right. Lady in the clubhouse was great and I’ll be back for many more rounds!

Great course for the price. The nine holes are intriguing and fun to play, and the carts are very well taken care of. Despite this, the course is a little under managed, such as grass being a little long (however when we played it had just rained buckets and it probably grew up very fast), the cart paths aren't paved, and the clubhouse is small, but all of this doesnt take away from the experience at all. In fact, it sort of adds to the aesthetic of the course and compliments the beautiful scenery. Overall I would definitely come back, as it is a super fun course to play. This course isnt a fa…
