In summary

Costa del Sol Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and community-focused atmosphere, with many noting recent improvements in course conditions. The course layout is considered challenging due to its narrow design and proximity to roads, which some find adds to the enjoyment. However, there are criticisms regarding inconsistent service, particularly with course rangers and maintenance staff, and some players have experienced issues with the pace of play and course maintenance.

Stopped in to use the driving range while I was in the Doral area and had a really positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the place and the people who come through it. The facility is clearly well-used by the local community lessons, juniors, and regulars which I actually see as a good thing. Golf needs places like this. I was able to get a solid practice session in at a very reasonable price, and for what I needed that day, it delivered. It’s obvious there’s effort going into breathing new life into the course, and I…

People are prompt to criticize and complain; however, very few take the time to write a good review. The golf course is nice and challenging, it seems like they are putting an effort to improve it. The friend I went to play with has played there before and he mentioned that he has seen the improvement. For those complainers, go ahead and pay $300 at other golf courses if you think you deserve better.

Golf was good. But the service was terrible. First off the pro shop didn’t open till 30 min after our tee time. So my group and 3 other groups waited outside. Once open, we immidiately started playing. We were the first tee time of the day but as a 4 some we let a 2 some start. We played as quick as we could but obviously with 4 groups starting together it was tight in the beginning, at hole 12 the ranger came up to us to tell us we were playing to slow, we already had teed off and were driving to the balls when he said this, the group behind us was not at the hole waiting so we were confuse…

Various recent reviews focus on areas the green keepers have clearly addressed (kudos to the staff). Greens are overall no issue at all, relatively consistent (my only request there is that the green staff cut the practice green to the same cut as the greens on the course more accurately). It’s a narrow course but an enjoyable one. Plenty of water to challenge you — accuracy is key. Staff are friendly. Range is small but functional. Worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for some inexpensive golf! Adjusted to 5 stars. The staff here are excellent and very accommodating, the community o…

Great course, especially for the price! I paid about $55 which compared to the Trump course nearby is a bargain (Trumps course is about $200+). The only issue I have with this course is that you are teeing off with homes or roads very close by to the left and the right so if you draw or fade at all, you might take out a home or car window. Because of that, I left my driver in the bag most of the time and simply used my 6 iron which was easy enough. I scored an 87. Pace of play was fast. Greens were in great shape. Friendly patrons. Would perhaps play again, but I do feel my score was hurt bc I…

We had a great time, the coarse was in good shape. The only small disappointment was the cart girl not very friendly. At the bar and restaurant service was great.

Came here to play 9 holes for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities offered like driving range, chipping range, spacious putting practice green, and the course looked in generally good condition. My issues were the golf cart I used had very weak brakes, almost had to slam them to prevent hitting a pedestrian that suddenly walked into my view. Also, we were rained out and the starter said he couldn't get anyone on the course for at least 2 hours. That's nature which is fine. However I was unable to get a rain check or credit due to the course only honoring that policy fo…

I was super pleased with this course, I had an early tee time and as a solo player finished around three hours. Green were in great shape, there was some work being done here there, but that’s to be expected especially with all the rain and it being non-peak season. I would absolutely play here again.

The course is challenging — tight with public roads accessible to errant drives, water and creeks, thin lies. Gets wet during rain! But, I enjoy it. Not the fanciest, but truly a working persons course. Much better to play M-R. Friday-Sun becomes so slow given that course layout. Greens seem to be much better this year! Putting and chipping and putting better this year. Cost for a bucket of balls best in the area! Cost for bottle beer while hitting bucket of balls best in the area!

My two boys played today. Never go back to this place again. Worst experience ever. 😪 No maintenance. No fairways. No Greens. Paid a lot to play the worst course ever. Don't waste your time and money on this course. Never recommend to anyone. Just check the photos.

Pretty bad made up t boxes narrow unmanicure fair ways and temporary greens in the fairway a 10 foot fence separate ur t shot from the street and major traffic unless u have never hooked or slice a shot in ur life stay away

This course should cost $20-$25 to play not $60. The fairways are mostly weeds and dirt and the greens are horrible. I didn’t even bother putting when I played
