Circling Raven Golf Club at Coeur D'Alene Casino

I have played Circling Raven before a couple time. But I forgot how great this course really is. The front 9 is good. But the back 9 is magical. As the course wanders through the trees and up and down the rolling hills, it is one of the most beautiful settings of any coarse. It is so remote that you don’t see or hear anyone. It feels as if you are alone in the wilderness. Now the course is in great shape. There were no dead spots or imperfections. The greens ran fast and true. Probably close to 11.5. Wow! What an amazingly beautiful course! Well worth the $179 green fee this, my 292nd course played, resides in my top 10 in scenic beauty and quality of fairways and greens. It is both challenging and fun to play! Chris in the Pro Shop, and Marshals Kirk and Don were most accommodating, friendly and professional. The Pro Shop is well-stocked and restaurant serves a great Club sandwich. I will definitely be back to play this one!

My perspective on Circling Raven will probably be a bit different than most posts, as Kim and I were the 'ride alongs' on the boys golf day! We do this regularly on vacations and have seen many beautiful courses, HECK we live on a golf course with views. ALL staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and displayed a sense of humor which was a much appreciated added bonus. We were there to watch our daughter play in the high school state tournament. The course was beautiful! The variety on the holes was impressive. The course is long, would highly suggest a cart. The carts have nice features like a small cooler, club and ball wash station, and GPS screens you can order from. I really appreciated the course hosting the tournament. It was an incredible opportunity for our daughter. We will definitely plan to go back and play as a family!

The scope a size of this course is enormous. I love that the course is in front of you. No blind/trick shot necessary. Generous fairways for a short hitter like me. Played from white tees it was less intimidating for a first time player. Good distances between holes. Very fair price.

Wow! All I can say is wow! This course was amazing! The groundskeepers did an OUTSTANDING job! The clubhouse was amazing and Jordan at the front desk of the clubhouse was very helpful! Can’t wait to come back! Seriously haven’t golfed in over 10 years and I had such and amazing time! The carts were pretty awesome, the service ON the course was epic and it was just an all out Amazing opportunity, Connie Jacobs, thank you so much for helping us experience this wonderful time!

Amazing golf course ⛳️ I would rate it the best in the area. It is a very long course if you are walking if you are carting they have really nice gps carts. The practice facility is huge and the pro-shop has everything. We took the kids for a practice round and we were the only ones on the course pretty much it was amazing 🤩 highly suggest this course

Excellent layout, fast undulating greens. If you want to eat b4 ur round, show up early. They are in no hurry to get food out at the course restaurant.

Just an awesome experience. Every golf fan needs to experience Circling Raven at least once. Of course, be warned that once you play, you'll be planning your next outing or at least thinking about it. Played here June 5 and conditions were spectacular. Greens are lightning fast. The pin setter needs to be reminded that most of us are tourists and not professionals. I'm guessing that over half the pins were on the edge of the greens with very little room for error. It's probably going to add a few extra strokes to your game, but still, we walked away with a sense of euphoria.

Hands down the best course I have played in Idaho or the area. Great condition, GPS on the carts. There is a lot of native grass, but no water which is a little different. I love to walk when I play but would not want to walk this course as it’s very spread out. Wish I would have taken more photos though. Also Bluetooth speakers on the carts which is very nice. Fairways probably impressed me more than anything else. Will hopefully make it back next year!

Exceptional golf and easily the best course in Idaho. The practice area alone is top tier with a separate short game area and full driving range. The course was in pristine condition and presented a lot of challenges or choices on how you could play each hole. The rolling wheat hills were beautiful and separated each hole so that you really can't see another fairway from your current hole. The par 3s were very long but had stunning downhill views (200 yards from the white tees). Greens weren't rolling very fast when I played it, which was fine with me but some of the greens weren’t in the best…

Love this place ❤ The people here are awesome Clubhouse is fantastic.! The driving range is one of a kind and the best I've ever been at. This course blows the Cda course out of the water.! Just awesome and I love to golf here. P.S. the food is delicious...!!!
