What People Say

In summary

Cedar Lake Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, challenging layout, and friendly staff. The course features a mix of open and tree-lined holes, with the back nine offering significant elevation changes and water hazards. While the clubhouse is noted as being functional but not fancy, some visitors have expressed concerns about discrepancies between online pricing and what is charged at the course.

I have been a member here for quite a few years now. The improvements under the current ownership have been awesome. I don't believe I have seen the course in such good condition. The greens are fantastic, the fairways mowed close and the rough is thick but not crazy. The front is basically flat and tree lined but not without it's twists and turns. The back nine is where you run into your real elevation changes. Lots of mature trees and pines, ponds, low lands and woods lining each hole with undulating greens. Nice clubhouse but nothing fancy. Bar area, snacks, hotdogs and drinks. Well stocked…

It was a very fun golf course, challenging but not too difficult of a course. The club house was nice, clean and the staff was friendly.

Very well manicured golf course. Greens have some slopes but nothing too crazy. For some reason the putting gods were with our foursome. We were making many if our putts.

Well kept gem of a course, with lots of old trees. Definitely harder than most small town courses I have played. Hole 13 plays long!

Just played here yesterday and the course itself was in good shape for late September…the course may want to update their website on there prices tho…we were a group of 4 seniors and we thought the price was going to be $35…we actually had to pay $40! I didn’t question the employee working at the time because he was a friendly guy. I know we shouldn’t complain about $5, but that’s not the point of having the prices on the website. We enjoy playing there and the whole whopping $5 is NOT going to keep us from coming back, even if it’s like an hour away

Great course, open front 9, tougher back 9. Club house is dated, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Sorry I didn't take pictures. Greens are fast and tricky. It was a great round, I will definitely be back to play here.

The price to golf on their website is not what they charge. Being a senior, I expected to paid the price on the webpage, but they charged $10 more. When I asked, the guy behind the counter said that they never look at or use the price on their website :-(
