Burr oak has been a new venture for us, but very refreshing. They have a very nice course that is well maintained, rate of play is excellent. The golf carts are in great shape, with a nice suspension for some of the rougher terrain, it’s a very smooth ride. We’ve been apart of a couple outings just recently for the mission of hope cancer fund and Palmer chiropractic. Great time!

It is a really nice place to play a decent round of golf. The staff are super friendly with Kennedy the Golden taking the lead role of Greeter! While the clubhouse is old, they have invested heavily in time and resources to make the course more fun and challenging. The next phase is the clubhouse, but definitely don't let that stop you. If you value helping small businesses, then make a round of it! ⛳️

Great course. The place has come a long way from a few years ago. Another local course use to get most of my business. Not anymore. Have played it 7 times in 2025 so far. Place is always doing something to improve it's conditions & experience for golfers. They also appreciate their customers. If I was forced to say 1 negative thing about Burr Oak. It would be the driveway coming in but, know it's just a matter of time and it will be redone. Tees in the carts, American Flags on every pin for the 4th. Keep up the great work

I have been playing this course since 1992. Under the new ownership, it is in better condition than I have ever seen it before. Keep up the great work! I truly enjoy playing this course now. The greens are easily the top 3 in the county.

An absolutely wonderful course. Very well taken care of and offers some very challenging holes. Not so difficult that you need a PGA card to make par, but a great test for any level player. What sets Burr Oak apart is the staff. They are amazing! From the time you walk in they make you feel welcome and they go the extra step to take care of you. From a casual nine on a weekday night, to a competitive eighteen on a weekend, to a huge scramble, Burr Oak is the place to play.

First time playing Burr Oak Golf Club in years. I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements in the the course. Fairways were in great shape and I was impressed with the conditions of the greens. They were quick, and well maintained. The gas carts are great. Hoping they’ll invest in a clubhouse replacement someday, it has the potential to be an outstanding golf destination. Oh, the long driveway is more typical of Michigan’s terrible roads.

Made two tee time, got through 5 holes and was told we were going to slow because we were a group of 6, like I said two tee times to compensate for the amount of people. And was told to leave when I asked if there was a way to fix the situation. They were dumb founded and said they couldn't find a solution. After telling us two holes in front of us was open, instead of letting the other people play through they said we would have to skip holes. Never going back.
