In summary

Browns Run Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and updated amenities, including a renovated pro shop and patio. Many appreciate the course's classic layout and the overall golfing experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the pricing structure, particularly the lack of a walking rate and high greens fees, as well as occasional issues with course management and booking accuracy.

Played a round on Saturday, course was fine, as it was Ferbruary cant expect too much. My problem is, that they then charged me $904 randomly that Monday. Tried to call and get it reversed, but every line goes straight to voicemail, now I have to dispute with my bank and have the card changed and wait for the refund from them. Do not go here, they are scammers.

We have a group of 8 that travels about 60 miles from Cincinnati every week. Playing all the public courses. After 3 weeks of hardly any rain. The course is in great shape. The bunkers were great. The greens are true and hardly any divots. Most holes are dog legs. I would highly recommend this course. We'll play it 2-3 times next year in our rotation.

The course itself was good and has been well maintained. The new pro shop and patio were great areas. The restroom was placed in an inconvenient location, being located up a set of stairs and in a locker room. Overall, I thought the $69 price for 18 holes was too steep. Similar city courses in the area are around 40-50 dollars.

Played yesterday, course was in great shape. Pace of play was fast, walked 18 holes in three hours. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Pro shop looked recently updated. I thought the rate was fair. My only recommendation would be to give walkers a little price break (same rate for cart and walk). Overall, a great day of golf and I will be back. Thanks!!

I booked a tee time as a single, expected to get paired with others, but played the 18 by myself in under 3.5 hours. The course is in magnificent shape. Fairways well manicured, greens ran a bit slower early, but as the day warmed up, and I made the turn, they got a bit faster. There is a practice range available and the practice green is a short walk to the first tee. Three various tee options for the average/ senior player. I played the blue which were not significantly longer than the white. Absolutely worth the 1.5 drive from Columbus. If you enjoy a well kept "classic" style layout then b…

Played for the first time yesterday. Great course. Not too hard but still some challenge. Fairways & greens were in great shape. Not crowded either. Was able to finish my round in 3.5 hours. Will be back for sure.

They list tee times available for sale when they are closed. I purchased the tee time. Drove 40 minutes only to be told once I got there that the course was closed for the day. I will not be back.

Brown's Run was established as a country club in 1956. Brown's Run is located in the country just outside of town. The majestic clubhouse is extremely spacious and it is where Browns Run hosts live bands.

bought my husband a round of golf with a friend. booked online and NO WHERE did it say you would be paired with 2 others. if he wanted a 4some he would have brought 2 other people. my husband has played golf over 30 years and was paired with people who had played 30 days, and knew no golf etiquette. MISERABLE time for a lot of money. Course nice and staff nice but golf ruined for fathers Day. Thanks. Won't ever book here again.

Great course for the price. Had a great time. If you can draw the ball, you are in good shape here.

We had our Gala event at Brown's Run and everything from beginning to end was easy and enjoyable to plan. The food was great and staff great!

I like the course changes over the last few years. Going back to 10 minute tee times is a positive compared to last year and I'm happy to pay more to not be crammed into 6 minute tee times with a stressed ranger. What keeps me away is the forced cart fee. We walk because it's faster for us and more affordable, but you have to pay a cart fee here. Strongly dislike this trend at some courses. Many studies have shown walkers are faster than carts in groups. This would be our go-to course if we could pay $40 to walk, instead we just drive to Yankee or Pipestone instead if walking.
