In summary

Brookwood Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with many golfers appreciating the well-maintained greens and friendly staff, making it a good value for the price. However, several visitors express dissatisfaction with the course layout, lack of clear signage, and absence of cart paths, which can lead to confusion. Additionally, there are complaints about management and customer service, particularly regarding tee time scheduling and pro-shop interactions.

Lost my business… I had a tee time today at 8:00am with some friends of mine. Nobody came to the Proshop until 9am. When we finally got in to check in, I asked if we could have a discount for waiting so long. The manager with the flat top hair cut harshly refused. I was fine with not receiving a discount, but out of curiosity I asked why nobody showed up until 9am when our tee time was 8am. He proceeded to tell me that they don’t open until 9am. (Their FB and Online says 8am) I replied by asking why someone (He) would agree to put me down for an 8am tee time, to which he deflected and called m…

Nice course with friendly staff. Greens are in great shape. The fairways and tea boxes are not in the best shape however It’s priced accordingly!

Great place for a quick round at a good price. Basically wide open cow pasture.. on a busy day there’s balls flying everywhere but you probably won’t lose your ball, at least! Greens are bouncy.

The greens around the piedmont tried feel like carpet when you step on them. The courses are showing their true colors and they are shining through.

Nice course, friendly staff. You can't buy admission ahead of time, but you can get gift cards. These cards can only be used for golf, though. Overall, it's a good spot. I believe they have 18 holes. I don't play golf. I just got my dad a gift card to come here. But he seems to like the place, so give it a try if you're looking for a new place to play.

This place was a good place to play golf at the start me and my brother who just picked up golf this year started playing daily paying 56 dollars a day the guy in the pro shop named Kenny said he would give me and my brother and membership for 1750 when the board clearly states membership 850 dollars add any family member for 200 more dollars that’s a total of 1250 he was trying to pocket 500 dollars cause he’s on social security and was trying to strike it Rich on 2 new members so we didn’t get the membership and started getting players card got 2 players cards and used one one day and tried…

Course is decent. Management failed and had 50+ golfers with tee times hanging while no one was at the club house. Waited over an hour and no one showed

I’ve probably played 500 courses over the past 40 years in several states. I played this course today and it secured last place hands down. Wish I had taken pictures. Even the golf cart seat was torn apart like a pit bull got ahold of it. Cow pasture describes it well. Too many beautiful courses in the area to return to this place. Drive down the road to Stoney Creek. You’ll see.

Easily some of the best greens in the area, especially considering the price. It's also a fairly open layout, which certainly helps higher handicap golfers. The only downside is the lack of a real golf cart path can be confusing to 1st time players of this course until they know the layout. I find myself liking this course the more I play it, and recommend everyone check it out if you're looking for something new or different.

The best remark I can make is that if you enjoy wide fairways you are in luck. Staff is very personable. Cart paths are often hard to locate and individual hole layouts even tho they are on the scorecard are to small and do not exist at the tee box yardage markers. The clubhouse is small with little amenities(Crackers, chips, hot dogs) but they do have a deck outside the clubhouse with a awning to sit and chat. Trash cans and golf ball washers exist in few quantities. Nice service.

Went in Early July. Fairways were in very nice condition. Its not Greensboro National so don't expect immaculate, but for where it is and the cost.......... they were great. Greens are beautiful. Soft. Spongey. If you get the ball in the air it will stick when you hit the green. Took a few holes to get the speed down but once you do they put great. Not alot of shade so bring a hat and sun screen. Grabbed a beer and some snacks at the turn. Biggest issue was the lack of cart path. What was there was just dirt/gravel and kinda washed out and bumpy. Beyond that, place was great. Ill be back.

What a mistake to go play this course. When I pulled into the parking lot my guy told me to go play somewhere else. Needless to say I didn’t listen . Overall the greens were good. That’s all the positives I have . Poor condition tee boxes , poor fairways, poor staff, and overall poor layout . Yardages not accurate on tee boxes , basically a hit and hope . Just not a good course .
