In summary

Beechwood Golf Course receives praise for its scenic layout, variety of 27 holes, and friendly, accommodating staff. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, noting issues with greens, bunkers, and fairways, as well as some confusion with course management and tee time organization. While some appreciate its affordability, others feel the condition of the course does not justify the price.

Played Beechwood on Sunday and was very disappointed. Fairways are lost and several greens have large brown, burnt spots that it seemed the grounds crew cut the pin in or around. There is grass growing in some bunkers, tee boxes were in terrible shape and overall the course is not in good shape. Also, expect a severely bumpy ride as the ground and cart paths have large holes to traverse. Yes, the price is $33 but pay a bit more and play a better course.

The Disneyland of Golf corses!! 3 9-hole different courses to chose from, so its a different experience each time. Had a great time on the newer golf carts. Even on a busy day its not back to back as there are 3 courses to chose from. Beautiful views, well kept, good fairways, and nice greens. Nice touch on the 4th with us flag flags.

Definitely not a fan of this course. Tee boxes are so beat up and they are every time I'm there, divots GALORE on every green, rough is extremely tall, course management is just non existent. Its a great layout and its fun but, its just not taken care of at all. The staff that works there are friendly and very nice people. The course itself just needs A LOT of work to be worth going to.

We play here about once a year. This trip was different. The course itself is run down. The bunkers need work. Greens need work. Some had big yellow areas. Fairways need work along with the tees. Only good thing was 33 dollars to play.

We played there yesterday and I'm a little disappointed in the condition of the course such as some of the greens weren't in very good shape..the bunkers need work really bad fairways need a little help but no too bad for a course in that shape should have been 25 for 18 with cart

Poor management, we got to our 4th hole and ran into a log jam, 4 - 2 somes in front of us, should of paired up some of those groups, no rangers to be found, had another 2 some go around us while waiting to tee off, called clubhouse and they said they would send someone out, never saw anyone. When we confronted 2 some they said that is how it's done there, they do it all the time, nothing ever said, course in bad shape, felt like we was out in a field, bunkers non existent, no sand or rock hard. Worse course played all year.

Played Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum yesterday — and it was one of the worst golf course conditions I’ve ever seen. Sand traps are completely abandoned and overgrown with weeds, fairways and rough are impossible to tell apart, and the greens are chewed up, patchy, and painfully slow. The course feels neglected and unmaintained.

The course was in pretty good shape. Staff accommodated our outting in a welcoming way. Fair price.

I went there only one time so far and plan on going back a LOT. This course has open, wide fairways but offers a lot of challenges too so don't get too confident in your game. They have a good selection of food and drinks too

First time golfing here, we booked online for Lakeview. The layout of the golf course is different because Lakeview only shows 9 holes when we booked for 18. Once finished with the 9 we asked the front desk lady if we start on 10 on the other course or what typically happens because we’ve never been here before. She never answered our question but told us we couldn’t get on a different set of 9 holes until later due to a tournament. Would not recommend golfing here. The course is in rough shape of the 9 holes we did get to play.

Attended a high school golf match as a spectator. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms. Girls at the front desk were super. Older course but it seemed well maintained.
