Beaver Creek Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, challenging layout, and excellent value for money. The staff is often highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a positive experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with maintenance crew disruptions and inconsistent customer service at the concessions, which can detract from the overall experience.

I've played this course numerous times. I believe it to be the best public course in the Baton Rouge area because it's challenging yet enjoyable and not as crowded as Santa Maria. The fairways are generous, but there are several bunkers on nearly each hole. The greens are tough, but almost always in great condition. Sometimes the pin placement can be diabolical. 😄 Overall, a "real" golf course that can be enjoyed by low and mid handicappers, but might frustrate beginners.

We brought my toddler grand babies to the playground while their dad was on the golf course. They had such a good time and so did the adults Lol! Nice rest room facilities, benches and plenty of shade.

Course is in pretty good shape right now. BUT The worse maintenance crew around…they consistently drive up on you while putting or in the puddle of a swing. They park behind trees and talk on their phone. They are just loud. Frustrating enough to not come back because it happens over and over and over.

Very nice! The greens were in great shape even though it hasn't rained in six weeks. The fairways were spectacular, too. There is a practice range by the first tee so you can warm up before playing. Played again 8/27...Great shape, beautiful greens. Tom the manager was very helpful too.

Best BREC course I've golfed at. Going back in two weeks. I plan to golf here at least every month.

The course was in beautiful shape for the two day tournament I was in. The rough was thick and your ball sank down in it but it was mowed nicely. The greens rolled nicely and true with minimal bad spots on them. My only complaint were the bunkers. Some had fluffy sand and others had a thin layer of sand. A very nice municipal course!!

Great course layout, greens in excellent condition, overall very good value for money! We really enjoyed this ”hidden gem” of a golf course! Also remember not to fish at the course lakes people!

Course was in good shape. Couple dark spots on the edges of greens but other than that they rolled true. Best part about this place are the people who work there. Awesome guys. The starter took a minute to give me a run down of the whole course and its history. My first but hopefully not my last visit.

Played June 22nd, 2024. I was a bit disappointed by the condition of the greens. There were patchy spots around most of them and bumpy throughout. Not many true rolls in my round. I was surprised at how slow they were although I know they were aerated 3 weeks ago. There were multiple greens that were bare around the edges with no grass. For the green fee, very disappointing. Besides the greens, the course is in very solid shape. The fairways were great, tee boxes were good although some were hard. The bunkering is unlike any other public course in the Baton Rouge area and forces you to be stra…

My son and I just played this course (Oct 2022) and it was GREAT! The greens are great, the fairways are great, heck, even the "rough" is very nice. The course marshal was very cordial and got us pointed in the right direction (first time at this course). The only bad part was we had to drive 1.75 hrs to get there, but I'm sure we will be back...best public course I've played.
