In summary

Bayside Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and stunning vistas, making it a standout destination in Western Nebraska. The staff, particularly in the pro shop, are noted for their exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, including families. While the course is lauded for its unique design, some visitors mention the need for improved golf carts with GPS due to the number of blind shots, and the practice range could be enhanced for a better experience.

I left a one star review early in the 2025 season for a scheduling conflict that nearly derailed our golf trip. I have to say Jen and the Bayside crew did everything possible to make up for it! This is a beautiful, challenging course whose layout compares to many of the "nicer" courses in Central Nebraska. The staff is incredibly accommodating and really focused on maximizing the experience of every guest (I'm not just saying that because they were trying to make up for the mistake mentioned previously - I watched them provide laughs and exceptional service for other groups that were there).…

Had an absolutely amazing time playing there this past weekend. The course is stunning and so much fun! A true test of golf and am looking forward to playing again this spring. While I love Wild Horse, this was a different level. Great undulations, spectacular vistas and the unbelievable hospitality from Jen in the pro shop was honestly second to none. It was so appreciated to be welcomed to a golf establishment and not feel we were intruding (many of you know exactly what I’m talking about). Genuinely happy to see us. It made the entire visit very special and can’t wait to go back!

One of the best golf courses Western Nebraska has to offer outside the Sandhills courses. Links style course with hefty elevation changes and a tough, but playable layout. Each tee box is going to give you a wholly different playing experience. This is a course you want to play at least twice so you know where everything is. Frequent blind shots make up for the overall lack in yardage. This place is a hidden gem, you cannot go wrong golfing here!!

If you're looking for a golf course that combines fantastic play with a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Bayside. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you're met with a course that’s not only beautifully maintained but also designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. The course itself is in pristine condition with lush fairways, well-manicured greens, and stunning views that make every round a pleasure. The layout is both scenic and strategic, offering a fun yet challenging experience for beginners and seasoned players alike. Whether you’re hitting birdies or just enjoy…

You will love it if golf is what your interested in. This is a players course and if you let the people who noticed the window sills are dirty, be your guide then your missing out. Notice no bad reviews about this incredible golf course. Come play for yourself. And after you can enjoy hot wings walleye or prime rib.

We recently stayed in one of the townhomes at Bayside Golf Club and had a fantastic experience. The accommodations were comfortable, and dinner at the clubhouse was delicious. You can really tell the owners take pride in every aspect of the place—from the grounds to the welcoming atmosphere. The employees are just as wonderful, and it’s easy to see they feel like part of a family, which speaks volumes about the culture the owners have built. They have definitely created a strong sense of community! Can’t wait to go back!

Two different nines built years apart by Coore & Crenshaw shapers Procter and Axland. Less famous than Wild Horse an hour east designed by same crew, very fun to play, fine Value, nice people

An truly incredible course. Beautiful. Humbling. One of a kind. Jen and Kailey in the pro shop are awesome. The restaurant and bar are great after a day on the course and staff is excellent. Can't wait to go back next year.

Bayside is a perfect golf experience. The course was in great shape and is a fun links design. The staff is super fun and is incredibly accommodating to hosting large groups for both golf and dinners (the prime rib is amazing). Was an inch from a hole in one on 17. Jarred it off the lip. Definitely will be returning to get my revenge

This place is a gem. I played Wild Horse the day before, and it was fantastic. However, Bayside might be my new favorite golf course. The greens were in great shape as was the rest of the course. The course design is amazing. It’s something you need to experience. Go out there and play it! You won’t regret it!

In regards to the review about not being a kid-friendly place - that is completely wrong and her review was based on her wanting the owners to stop customers from saying offensive words at 9:30 at night. Here's an idea, Don't bring your kids to a bar at 9:30 at night. And the owners are the most incredibly generous amazing people I've ever met my life.

I saw a recent review/post that said Bayside golf course isnt "kid friendly" with a "terrible owner"....Im not sure what Cortney Davis considers "kid friendly" - but I can share my own experiences that they have let all of my kids and grandkids play as a large group on more than one occasion- with nobody pestering us to speed up play- while the kids try to learn the game and have fun. In addition my family and grandkids have had wonderful experiences and memories made at the clubhouse and with the staff there. As far as "terrible owner"? What does that even mean? They have always been generous…
