In summary

Aquia Harbour Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and convenient location within a neighborhood setting. Many visitors find the 9-hole course enjoyable for practice, with some noting the creative use of alternate tee boxes to play a full 18 holes. However, there are consistent criticisms regarding the course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, with some describing them as poorly maintained. Additionally, a few visitors have experienced issues with reservations and customer service interactions.

Very affordable! Nicely maintained course and greens.

I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback regarding a recent interaction I had with your representative, Mike, who reached out to our business inquiring about advertising opportunities for your golf club. While I appreciate the initiative and interest in partnering with us, I must express some concerns about the experience. During our conversation, I kindly conveyed that I wasn't interested in pursuing advertising at this time. Instead of a respectful and constructive exchange, I felt the call was prematurely terminated. I understand that not all conversations result in an immediate agree…

It’s a great neighborhood 9 hole course, I play here weekly! It can be narrow in spots (for those complaining that you are playing peoples backyards) just hit your ball straight and you’ll be fine. The friendly staff run it well and the grounds keepers keep a nice course. You can’t beat the price for what is offered!

Nice little 9 hole course. Price is very reasonable. Fairways and greens were still rather patchy (probably much nicer in late spring and summer). Staff was extraordinarily friendly. Couple of holes were a little contrived. The ninth hole was a 110 yard par 3 straight up a hill. And, this is a very spread out course. So, you really need to take a cart. But, it was only $14 for 9 holes with a cart. So, it was a great deal.

We set a t time and showed up and they said they never got our time and the course was obviously not busy and they said we couldn’t play even after showing them the reservation on our phone

Clubhouse was nice, service was good, golf carts were in good shape, full bar was an added benefit, however the course itself wasn't up to par (pun intended). The greens are mostly non-existent. There is little to no grass on them, just sand. A few of the holes don't actually have a hole (we aimed for a leaf). The fairways and the rough are essentially the same thing The fee was $12 for 9 holes or $18 for 18 holes. All-in-all, you get what you pay for, and based on what you pay, I suppose it's worth the price if you aren't playing seriously or just want to practice Also, there are only 9 hol…

I am writing this review for those hoping to play the golf course. It is not much of one. It is almost like someone constructed a course in their backyard. The conditions are really bad. The staff is friendly, and the food they have in the restaurant attached to the clubhouse is good and fairly priced.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this course! The employee that checked us in was incredibly kind, and the course was unlike one we’ve ever played!

I really wish I could review this with less than one star. The greens are the worst I have ever seen a golf course to allow. There is more crabgrass sand and dirt in the greens then in the bunkers. The bunkers themselves are less of sand traps than they are mud traps. I can't believe a golf course would allow themselves to look this way. If I was the City of Stafford I would condemn this course until it is a halfway decent representation of the city and neighborhood surrounding it.

Challenging 9-hole course that plays 18, with different tee boxes on may holes to create a completely different start of that hole. Greens are in great shape right now and the range, bunker and chipping/putting green allow for a great warm-up before your game or regular practice.

Great staff parking close to the range, so grabbing your gear is a short stroll away. More than enough space between trees and a small sand bunker for an amazing overall practice day.
