In summary

Woodward Golf & Recreation is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging greens, and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The club offers a good value for money, especially appreciated by families and casual golfers. However, some visitors have noted dissatisfaction with certain staff interactions and pricing policies, particularly concerning cart fees and overall costs. The small-town setting and community vibe are highlighted as positive aspects, although improvements in bathroom maintenance at the pool and clearer course layout signage have been suggested.

Love this course!! Just became a member due to the perks of members only on Sundays and Holidays. The course is always in good shape!

Great little small town pool! It is very basic, but there is a small kiddie pool separated from the primary pool, approx 1ft, maybe slightly deeper, but it is not zero entry. Primary pool there are not slides or anything fancy it is exactly what it is, a swimming pool. I like the deep end and diving board, water quality has always been good, we go when it isn't very busy, but this pool is definently geared more for those that already know how to swim, and don't intend to do laps. I would say they could do a better job cleaning/maintaining the bathrooms (open air) but for being a small town…

Good 9-hole course. Great hometown atmosphere, everybody seemed to know everybody. Fairways do not seem to be much of a challenge, but the greens were surprisingly hard to read. I would definitely play it again because of the casual atmosphere and the camaraderie.

Had a very bad experience with the staff, she made the club lose $300 from her attitude causing our group to leave. Do not work a customer service job if you are going to be disrespectful to everyone. Especially when half the group has memberships and they don’t even want to golf because of her.

Perfect small town course. Long enough that you can use your driver for every par 4. No tee times which seems a bit weird but lends to the small town feel. Good place to go on a generally busy golf day

Great 9 hole course, the greens are challenging to putt and the people are very friendly. The price to play is excellent and the food is good. Don't miss out if you have a chance to play it.

Charged us for an 8 year old to just ride in the cart so we could play a round of golf. Was thinking of joining but now I wont be back. 90 bucks for three people to play and ride 9 holes is too much.

The per seat $15 is ridiculous. $70 for two people to play 9 holes at a small town course is insane. People will look elsewhere to play at these rates.
