In summary

Wolf Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained course, and reasonable pricing, offering a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. Many golfers enjoy the course's layout and variety, with some highlighting its challenging nature and the improvements made by the owner. However, there are criticisms regarding the condition of the greens and drainage issues, particularly after rain, which some visitors feel detracts from the overall experience.

Participated in a fundraising tournament for a young boy battling cancer. They had a tremendous turnout and wound up with 2 full fields of teams for 8:00am shotgun and a 1:00pm shotgun. Was 1st time on course and it reminded me of Dawn Acres that used to be out 68North of Greensboro. Older folks will remember that course. Basically pasture golf with decent greens. Very playable and we shot a respectable 12 under par. Like most rounds, could have been better, but time well spent for a great cause.

We love playing here. This is a laid back country golf course. Nothing fancy here. Don't take that the wrong way either . It is very well maintained. The people here are great. Very relaxed atmosphere. You want run into Karen or Roger. That's why we like it.

Very interesting and well maintained course. The first nine I would give 5 stars the second nine 4 because of the sand greens that are missing large parts of green and too hard to hold a ball. This is a fun course to play and I will play it again, but it would be great if they could fix the greens.

Challenging course, hometown backyard atmosphere, well maintained course and greens, courteous and helpful staff, very reasonable prices. UPDATE: May 2020; After careful consideration it is only fair that I update my 8 month ago review. I have played other courses in the Rockingham area but, none is as challenging as Wolf Creek. The owner has made a lot of needed changes. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well. The only negative thing that can be said is “Higher Power” induced, which is some soggy areas after a hard rain, which can not be helped. My compliments to the staff and owner…

Why this course is even open I'll never understand. Most all the greens are hurricane damaged. Putting is a nightmare. Most of the course is pretty good shape and it's not to difficult to play. The tee boxes and greens need allot of work.

The course has variety of holes.long pars, dog legs, uphill, the 11 hole is my favorite, long drive with a slight dog leg. Across a creek on to island type green. All in the bottom lined with bamboo and oaks. Great coruse

Best course in town. The employee's you encounter have great personalities unlike another course in town. Don't go a couple days after a good rain though!
