What People Say

In summary

Westwood Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and well-maintained 9-hole layout, making it an enjoyable and reasonably priced place to play. Many appreciate the course's scenic setting and the presence of various hazards that add to the challenge. However, some visitors have noted inconsistencies in course maintenance and policies, particularly regarding golf cart usage and age restrictions, as well as occasional issues with course accessibility and condition.

The golf course is not kept up. Website clearly says you can drive a golf cart if you are the age of 16. we go in and this lady tells us the age is 18 and tells us we have to walk. We show her the website and she gets very smart. We had 2 16 year olds and 1 17 year old that drives a dodge challenger but isn’t apparently coordinated enough to drive golf cart. we golfed 1… let me remind you 1 hole. And we could not get a refund. If you publish on social media that there is a certain age to be able to do something you should go through with it and not tell people who drove 30 minutes to a course…

Not well maintained. I think my yard has a better look at a fairway and I live in an apartment complex. Each hole just looks like a lawn and many of the greens have dead spots with roots of what used to be grass popping out, terribly messing up lines. Would be much more worth it to spend money at other local public courses for a longer drive.

I do not consider myself a golfer by any stretch of the imagination, however, this course was well maintained and looked very pleasing. I can not comment on the difficulty of it, as I consider every course difficult. lol! When I golf again, I will definitely give Westwood my money!

This is the course I fell in love with Golf on. It's a great family environment! They also have a simulator for winter time. It's a great place to play!

Beautiful looking 9 hole course, be aware of the neighboring yards that are OB. Also not particularly fond of how some holes play right over or next to others. Gotta pay attention to the golfers around you

As another reviewer stated - it would be nice if it were an 18 hole course, but still a fun place to play. Carts could use an upgrade/repair.

Westwood is a little gem of a golf course. Played a quick 9. Water, trees, sand...enough hazards to make play interesting and challenging.
