In summary

Westwood Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, scenic course layout, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The staff, particularly Gene, receive high marks for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course management, such as slow pace of play and occasional rudeness from staff, which could be improved.

Played with a Tavern group of 40. Greens and Tees were excellent. Fairways very dry because of drought conditions, but playable. Will visit again.

Every year, 1st Saturday in August, Heartland Christian Academy in New Castle, In. has their Annual Golf Outing at this Course. It has grown so much, they now have two tournaments in one day. A nice course with some very pretty holes. Really nice Course layout.

Great Staff. A lot of good competition. A solid overall scenic for the location course with a good combination of easy and difficult holes. Very affordable and usually plays under 4 hrs. Highly recommend

Nice, relaxed course, with helpful and patient patrons. Greens are well kept, and prices are so low I’m going back again this week! Gene in the clubhouse was especially helpful and kind. Thanks for looking out for us Gene!

Did not have a tee time. But went and see if the family could go ahead and play. The guy at the counter was rude. Ask if the kids were any good. Which for one was not any of his business. We were there to teach the boys a little about golf and expose to it more. It was a course that we had not played. They were not that busy. He made it sound like that he or the course did not want kids on it. This was also a Friday morning about 1030am. So we told him we would take are money somewhere else and he said ok. We will not never play here.
