Westmount Golf & Country Club

Should have posted it months ago. We came here for a GVCA curling event on Jan 2025 at Westmount and it's honestly been a great experience. The ice was in amazing shape, and the whole vibe of the place is super friendly and welcoming. It’s a fun place to curl, meet people, and be part of a great community. Highly recommend it if you're in the KW area and thinking about giving curling a shot! Also the washrooms were super clean and they have a big parking lot as well.

I whole heartedly recommend the catering. If you need to book an event, they have top notch chefs. I've attached photos of a couple items I really enjoyed during a buffet; As you can see, that beef is perfection. They are very accommodating. If their bar isn't stocked with your selection, they will go the extra mile to make it happen. If the chef sees your plate isn't full enough, they will ask what they can make you so you get a proper meal. What a top notch experience. This golf course is incredible. I played last Monday and my round only took 4 hours to complete. The greens are very fast so you make sure you hit your ball below the hole. Beautifully bunkered throughout the course. Not a blade of grass out of place. This course has been well manicured. Fairways are quite hilly, my pictures below don’t do it justice. One of the best Stanley Thompson courses anywhere.

It's hard to think of anything to complain about here, the food is lovely, the staff are wonderful, the facilities are magnificent, just about everything is top-notch. However, if you're not rich, you'll never see this place. And, that's kind of sad, everyone should experience some beauty in their lives regardless of the amount of money they have.

Wendy, the event manager, is a true professional in planning and executing beautiful and memorable events. I've hosted many functions at Westmount and have never had any stress with Wendy at the helm, she takes care of everything. She is a gem!

I was a member at Westmount for over a decade ago and played today for the first time in a few years. They made me feel super welcome and the course was in fantastic shape. Thank you for a 5 star homecoming round of golf!

I was invited as a guest to a curling event. I'd never curled before, but had a great time. I'm obviously no expert, but the facilities seemed nice. We also ate there, and the pizza, Caesar salad and dessert were absolutely delicious. Servers were fast and friendly. Parking was ample, and right beside the curling rink. Would love to go again!

This review is long overdue. We were fortunate enough to be able to have our daughters wedding at Westmount on the hottest day in 2018. Debbie and staff made this day memorable and not because of the heat. The organization, direction, service, food and facility made this an outstanding day. We are still getting comments on the food and how great it was. As the mother of bride, the day went by very quickly but there was no stress from the day and there was nothing missed. So, thank you to the great team at Westmount Golf and Country Club!

First class facility. The curling building has excellent ice, lighting and viewing from the glassed-in gallery with overhead cameras showing the rock positioning in the house. The restaurant serves amazing dishes for very reasonable prices with a compact bar for all sorts of drinks. The service is friendly and prompt. Comfortable seating area. Looking forward to checking out the golf in the summer.
