Westchester Country Club

Great course spread out over a vast area with wide fairways and lots of water. The greens were a little slow, though. ⛳

Love this country club, it's open to the public, the people here are very nice, and the prices are reasonable. My friend and I come here for the driving range, $13 for a bucket of balls (roughly 40+ per basket), and take credit cards. The range is nice, green, and clean. Definitely my go-to spot to relax and hit some balls on the weekend mornings.

Great grounds and practice areas. Driving range is often cordoned off from the back and made irons-only to let grass recover. There's a ball machine on the range that takes payment so you don't need to go to the pro shop (more on that later). Greens don't break as much as you'd expect. Forced carries are pretty difficult-- high handicaps shouldn't play here unless from the forward tees. Outdoor staff including rangers, bag drop, and cart barn personnel are great. The restaurant has a small but very nice selection. The portions were generous and all our meals were prepared very well. The food was very tasty. The service was great too. You can sit inside or outdoors over looking the putting and driving greens. A very relaxing experience.

Mike the starter is great. Staff is friendly. The course is very well maintained for the amount of play it gets.

Westchester CC is a great course for the price. The conditions are always good or very good. The staff is always friendly and easy. Good food, drinks, and snacks at the turn, sometimes with a food truck. Pace of play is somewhat of a consistent issue here, as by hole 5, we were already 40 minutes behind pace because of the group(s) in front of us. Additionally, what was strange, is that two groups both had our 7:20 tee time, which may have contributed to the slower pace. Overall, always happy to return, but rangers/marshals enforcing pace of play a little more effectively would be a benefit.

The course layout is very good, with well-designed holes and a nice overall flow that makes the round enjoyable. Unfortunately, the greens were slow, furry, and did not roll true. Putts tended to wobble and skid, which made distance control and reads difficult throughout the round. With improvements to green maintenance, this could be a really solid course. The layout alone makes it worth playing, but the greens took away from the overall experience.

Gorgeous!! Went to a wedding here and the property was awesome. It was an outdoor wedding and it was beautiful. The clubhouse were the reception was held is beautiful. It was so grand and allowed for a cocktail time. The space was good for all the guest and you didn't feel cramped. A great venue for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or just anything.

We played from the tip on the Gold/Blue courses during a windy afternoon. They are in good condition with some forced longs, especially on the Par 3s. The only drawback is that the greens are incredibly SLOW.

Had a great round as a single...joined up with great people mid round. Staff was friendly, course in great condition, very reasonable price. Only reason not 5 stars is greens...nothing to write home about. Saw some turtles and iguanas..pretty cool

The course itself is great. 27 holes that are challenging and overall well taken care of. However, the rest of the facility has gone to garbage. I’ve gone multiple times to the range and it’s basically a sand pit (see pictures from today). The carts are aging, the interior of the building is run down. Just a clear issue with management and upkeep. If you just want to play here, it’s great. But otherwise it’s in pretty rough shape. Best staff, course is always in good shape! Joe & Shelly are great at spacing out the groups. Yes we love the cart girls too and like them driving around instead of sitting in one spot!!
