Waverly Golf & Country Club

It was the windiest day of the year and I have to say Waverly is probably the second best golf course I've been on all year long The greens were absolutely perfect they were quick and even though it's a short course the greens make it a very difficult course if you're not in the right spot on the green trouble big trouble can't wait for next year so if you're around Waverly or even if you're not it's worth the drive to play!

Super nice golf course, and it always has been. I spent my youth in this facility with my parents in the bar🫤. Obviously, the ground crew has changed in my fifty-four years, but the course is still treated with the utmost care. It was an absolutely perfect morning! People seemed nicer around here than I remember when I was a kid. I might even stop by again the next time I pass through.

This is an established golf course 18 hole in the heart of Waverly. The course has undergone management changes, most recently being handed to the city for maintenance and administration. We teed off the first front nine and exactly on time. The desk is run by friendly young people. Our cart was clean and ready to go. Once we teed off, it was very slow going as the group ahead of us had one set of clubs for four people! Beautiful course, beautifully maintained. Just challenging enough for an average golfer like me. Friendly staff, nice 19th hole. I can’t say enough good about Waverly Muni!

I got fit for irons and JD did just a wonderful job with the fitting process. He got me into the right set for me. The only problem was that by the time I finally got my clubs they were about 3 generations old. Love the ol Muni though. Shoutout to the maintenance crew, Ziggy and all the crew at the bar, and the wonderful cart staff.

Very interesting course. A lot of elevation changes on every hole. Friendly staff and lightning quick greens. Great rates on Monday AMs!! Will definitely be back!

Most amazing times golfing at the Waverly Municipal Golf Course. Our kids (10 & 12) enjoy it so much that they have their own golf pass. We will be first in line to get our family seasons pass next year.

I have played a lot of golf courses in my lifetime and I would have to say this one is one of the top courses. The grass was great, the greens rolled great, the course has many mature trees, all was great.

Great public links course. Highly recommend!

By far the best little municipal course in the great state of Iowa. Not a long track but lots of trouble in all the right places. And the price of a round is below the industry average.

Very nice course. Had to play a little faster than normal because of the busy day. All in all, it was a great time.
