This review is specifically for engaged couples considering having a wedding a WGCC. Our wedding photography team (LVERphoto.com) absolutely LOVES photographing weddings at this beautiful venue! WGCC is close enough to DC and many surrounding areas that you can have your choice of ceremony and portrait locations - on or off site. The back patio/deck and golf course are very picturesque, and the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The ballroom is more traditional, but definitely not stuffy or dark. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 was my second time visiting Washington Golf & Country Club for a memorial/Celebration of Life. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The location is beautiful with great views from the balcony. The food they prepared was excellent.

This was my second time at this venue. Both times were for holiday parties. The space was great for a group of 75-100 people. It would be a bit tight for larger groups based on the space we were in. The reason I took off one point was the food was not good. The chicken was very dry and the salmon wasn’t much better. The appetizer of mushroom ravioli was excellent though.
