Really solid course, especially for the value! Only complaint is I think their tee times are a little too close. Twice now I’ve played either in the middle of a weekday or an evening (during the week) and there’s been a lot of waiting beginning on the 3rd hole or so. But, definitely nice enough that I’ll be back.

Fun course for the most part. We did play as a twosome at 1140 on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend. Weather was overcast and 68*. Pace of play was terrible. 4.5 hours to play 16 holes. We flew through the first 7 holes and then hit two twosomes and they were following two foursomes. Holiday weekend, should have a ranger. Mentioned it in the clubhouse after we quit at 16 and no apology or acknowledgement.

Great value. Price is low compared to the quality of the course. Greens, bunkers and fairways were very good. A few of the tee boxes were rough, but not terrible. Food at the Grill was very good and reasonably priced also. I think they are doing extensive work on the greens this summer (2026) so call first....

Very pretty course, well taken care of. Greens are in fantastic shape, maybe one that had some chewed up areas. No complaints about the fairways. The tee boxes were all in good shape, some wonky and a few bare, but overall, they were pretty good. Greens were fast this weekend. Some wonky holes and I don't love the layout but a nice course. Do you have 5 1/2 to 6 hours for a round of golf? We arrived early for an 11:00 tee time. We didn’t get to tee off until11:20. Not a great start but being they are spacing tee times every 8 minutes I can see why this happened. By the 3rd hole the group in front of us was over one hole behind the group in front of them. So we waited and waited and waited some more. On the turn one of our group asked the check in staff if there was a ranger on duty. He was advised that nothing could be done as no one was available and they were out of carts.(really. Out of carts?) We spent the back nine killing…

Love the course. Had a great time. Will definitely be back. Wish the guy at front desk was more friendly and explained things more. Especially for first timers coming to this course.

Village Greens Golf Club, located in Grambling, South Carolina (near Spartanburg), was an absolute pleasure to golf. The course was in great shape. The fairways were smooth and well manicured. The greens had been aerated the week prior to my playing it, but they were still in great shape (just slow as you would expect after being punched). The course was challenging but fair. The back was nine a little tougher. The clubhouse was beautiful. The staff friendly. The prices fair. I'd definitely come back!!

Have loved playing at this course until recently. I used to have a corporate membership here, but have since not renewed. The number one problem is no one that works there gives a crap about anything. I don’t expect this place to be a 5star golf resort, but I do expect to not be harassed by a homeless man walking around the course on a par 3. There was a multitude of problems today. - homeless guy harassing on a par 3. Followed us around to the next few holes - a group of young girls driving up on the green. Along with going to the green then driving back to the middle of the fairway to take…

Nice quiet setting.Good pricing. Course is usually in good condition. A few quirky holes. Nice clubhouse and pro shop.People here are friendly. One of the few courses in the Upstate that start their tee times at 7am. Great time for hot summer days.

Give it 8.5 of 10. Nice course but the greens were slow because of aeration. Nice clubhouse reasonable prices.

Been playing here for the past 7 years. We enjoy this course. Greens can be really fast in the winter months. But still enjoyable to play. Great staff and the restaurant is good too. Thanks Cory!

My son and I played there on 11/17, and I have to say that for November, the course was in excellent shape. The course's biggest defense is its greens. I'm not sure if they are this fast all of the time, but they were like lightening! Stay below the hole! Great layout, and we enjoyed playing!
