In summary

Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and a layout that offers a mix of open and narrow holes, making it accessible for golfers of varying skill levels. The course is undergoing improvements, with some visitors noting that the greens and overall maintenance still require attention. While some enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and amenities like the pool and restaurant, others have experienced issues with course conditions and organization during events.

Course was between summer and winter, greens have been over seeded but not in yet. Layout was a little hard to follow for first time playing course on some holes. They are working on improving course but still needs some work. Overall good for the price.

Played here last weekend and it was very nice. One of the better public courses I have played at. The greens could be in better shape but they are not terrible. For an average golfer looking to just play this course is perfect. Some holes have good challenges but nothing super crazy. I will definitely be back to play again.

I was a member at this course for 12 yrs. Now it's poorly maintained and the new layout on holes 5,6, and 7 is not only poorly thought out but will slow down play and eventually get someone hurt. A lot of back and forth along holes where others will be hitting into you as you travel back along the hole you just played. If they do wait on you to exit green mark you card travel back play will slowed to crawl and back ups are inevitable.

This course has a lot of potential but it’s just not very well maintained. I played here a couple years ago and thought the same thing albeit it was February then. I thought maybe it’d be better during the warmer months. Unfortunately no. It needs A LOT of work. The greens were rough, most holes more dirt and less green. Putting is completely pointless. I wanna cut them some slack as I could see this area just being hard to maintain but there was literally a part I went over today, like an on ramp to a bridge and it was made out of bags of concrete, like dozens of them. Call me boujee but that…

This is a pool review only! I'm a terrible golfer. This is our second summer having a pool pass at Tri-County and we really love going! The pool is really big and hardly anyone is ever there, making plenty of space for my kiddos to splash and play. The shallowest spot in the pool is only 3 ft, perfect for my 3 year old, and even the deep end is shallow enough for me (5'10") to stand. They have a great shaded patio with tables and chairs as well as some pool toys and outdoor games you can play. The staff is really nice, although it's easy to tell that the club is under new management this year…

This course has a lot of potential, but with 13/18 of the greens being temporary, I do not believe it is worth the price. I was not made aware of this until we had arrived at the temporary green itself. I would not come back due to the nature of the work it looks as though is put into this course. There were some paths created by pouring water onto unopened bags of concrete. It felt really lazy and as though it were not a priority. some of the holes were under construction and being redesigned, which once again was not something that customers were made aware of. This course was not a bad expe…

I really enjoyed this golf course. It reminded me of my old home course which was the old styled County Club. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The greens were a little challenging and I had a tough time reading them. The overall condition of the course is good. It's a fun place to play. Since I have family in the area, I plan to return.

First time at Tri-County, my wife and I teamed up with our friends to play in a scramble. We were very impressed. The challenging course was in great shape. Played great. Nice carts. Facilities clean and tidy. Restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere. Nice patio. Everyone was very friendly. Priced well. We will be back.

Found this course on Tee Off for very cheap so gave it a shot. It is a very short course but still a good layout. Front pretty open back is more narrow. Some holes are very narrow to make up for the distance. Kinda what I expected for out in the country. Fairways are mixture of grass, weeds and lots of clover. Greens very bumpy, some worse than the others. I will give them this it looks like they have fought flooding from all the rain. Some holes you can see water lines were up on the tree lines 3 or 4 foot deep. The staff were very friendly. I would not pay $40 which looks like the rack rate.…

My wife and I live full-time in Houston but we have a second home in Leon County. We both love Golf so much that we wanted to find a place close to our ranch that we could feed our golf addiction. We played here twice now and for a 18 hole golf course in the middle of nowhere it was in fairly decent shape. I know it’s counterintuitive, but the first thing that I judge a golf course on is its personnel; from the front desk to the starter, and to the snack bar this place is chock-full of very friendly, helpful human beings. The greens are in great shape the last time we played, but the winner ha…
