In summary

Towne Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, diverse and challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. The front nine offers a more traditional, tight setup, while the back nine, designed by local pro Steve Stricker, is more open and forgiving. Some visitors have mentioned issues with course amenities, such as empty water stations and rough cart paths, as well as occasional dissatisfaction with staff handling of certain situations.

The front nine and back nine look nothing like each other. Front nine is severe and hilly with small, lightning quick greens that don't hold approach shots very well. Back nine is spacious with large greens that do hold approach shots very well. You'll love the back nine!

Nice track! Definitely not walkable. The #3,5,9,10,11,12-16,,,18 are nice holes. Definitely need to become familiar with the course to score well. Not many holes with the flag visible to strategize from the tee box. The hard pan around greens was, you know difficult. I will play again though.

Awesome, golf course. Great people. Great value. Beautiful course in great shape The front line is the original nine holes. It's par 34. Challenging because of how tight it is, some blind t-shots, some blind approach shots...but very unique. Back 9 is newer, more traditional, par 36, yet still challenging and penalizing for wayward shots.

If you have not been to Towne Country Club in the last year or so you need to make plans to do so. There have been so many improvements on the course, and in the club house it looks amazing. The TCC crew really does an outstanding job! I highly recommend golf, and the other activities throughout the year like bingo, meat raffles, and music. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the drinks are cold.

Had a group of 10 golfers in town for the weekend. So we booked 3 back to back to back tee times as to not be in anyone’s way or clog up the course. Since we were all friends the first group of 4 would go, followed shortly after by 2 (while the others were still on the green), and then the next group of 4 after the small group finished up. By doing this method we got stopped 3 separate times (while only golfing 9 holes of best ball) due to “multiple phone calls” about us golfing 6 at a time even though we booked 3 tee times and we were going at a pace of only needing 2. We were constantly bein…

Very friendly staff. You should call ahead for tee times. The course it great for any level golfer with holes than really span the range of difficulties. Back nine is a little more open than the front generally speaking. Cart, green and beer prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.

Great course, they have done a ton of tree removal and renovations to get the greens and course in ideal shape. Front nine is old school, where you need to be very creative. Could make a birdie or a bogey by being an inch off. The back nine is a great layout and allows you to make birdies. Don't let the 6,000 yards fool you, it's a challanging track and only getting harder with the firm and fast greens. Can't be the beer buckets, 6 beers for $15!!

Between the bartenders/staff, General Manager, and overall course improvements in recent years, there is no better place to golf in the area! Highly recommend TCC for anyone that is looking for a friendly golf course to have a great time. Any skill level will enjoy this course!

Greens had been aerated and were a touch shaggy but otherwise the course was in great shape. Very picturesque course that is a lot of fun. Hope to make it back here next year.

First time there yesterday. Although the course was decent the cart paths are pretty rough. And where are the port a pots on the course? Tee boxes need some work, but overall not bad. Just my opinion.
