Tokatee Golf Club

Hard to find better views than this course. Course is in great shape. We played Both Saturday and Sunday, course was pretty full but pace of play was good. Worth the drive. 2.5 from Portland. GO!!!

Update: course still in great shape in late October 2025. Also five star approved by Willow the Border Collie. Friendly staff (and staff dog), and an ample number of squirrels. ---- Spring 2025: I don't get up here as often as I should, but was reminded today why it is a special place. I played 18 holes and enjoyed every minute of it, despite my often less than stellar skills. The course is in superb condition right now. This is doubly impressive given how wet things have been this spring and the maintenance challenges that other courses in the area are having. Greens are fast and true, fair…

Just played here for the first time recently...what an excellent course. Beautiful location, great layout, impeccable condition from tees to greens. Grass driving range, with great chipping and putting areas right in front of the well-sized Pro Shop. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. Glad I finally crossed this off my list of Oregon Must-Plays; I will definetly be back as soon as possible.

Most scenic course in the U.S. Another great day at Tokatee golf course up the McKenzie River(3/11/22). Rates are now $69 for 18($63 on Fr,Sa, Su). Carts are $20. 10 time punch cards are $480. Course is fantastic shape, and staff is friendliest I've encountered.

Stopped for lunch, it was a good experience. Staff was friendly and the food good. The view was marvelous. The course looked well tended says a non golfer :)

Great course in a scenic location. They have great prices for 9 and 18 holes. Staff that is always helpful and courteous. Golf carts are available here. The food from the kitchen is tasty. Nice pro shop. I just wish the had a service offering drinks via golf cart during this summer heat. Located about 30 miles eat of Springfield.

This golf course is located in the pines off Hwy 126 in Rainbow, OR. I don't golf but they have a nice little grill next to the Pro Shop with indoor/outdoor seating. The menu is simple and delicious. The cafe has a beautiful view of the course, with the dominant Castle Rock and other peaks looming in the distance. Their hours/days vary depending on the season, so be sure to call first.

Long ago P. Jacobson highlighted Tokatee as a gem… I’m here to confirm his opinion. Today I played 27 holes (front x2) & loved every bit of it! There are only a few places I’d willingly play everyday & this is one of ‘em. Not only are the greens & layout immaculate but they added some local interest by distributing rustic logging equipment throughout the course … additionally the staff are superb, very cordial and friendly. Even if you don’t play, stop in & enjoy some food after a day on the river… the burgers are 💯 Play Tokatee!!

Tokatee is by far the best public golf course within an hour drive of Eugene Springfield area. The views of the snowy mountaintops in the distance. The tight cut fairways and The greens during the summer are fast!! Make sure to take some practice putts before you head out! The food at their bar is amazing and the staff are always upbeat and friendly!! I have been out there a couple times this year already plan on playing there a few more times before summer ends!!

Outstanding hidden gem in the Cascades! Gorgeous course, super friendly staff, beautiful location. We played two rounds and would have played a third if we had time. A true gem!

Fun, beautiful, relaxing!!! Great value!!! The drive is beautiful. Looking forward to staying when the cabins are ready!
