What a pleasant surprise of a hotel. Being a big golf nerd, I was intrigued when I found this to be the only Hilton in the area on the way back home from Georgia. The room (king studio) was very modern and large. Had a great view of the course as well. The bed is comfortable and the fan for a/c worked great. Big need of mine. The only thing the room lacked was a fridge. Because there is a course here, you want find your typical shop for small treats and such as you would at your typical Hilton. The restaurant is quaint and cozy with great food and service. Tony behind the bar is awesome!! You…

Breakfast was surprisingly good, typical breakfast plates but huge portions and full of flavor. The view was a nice bonus too. It’s a golf resort (I don’t golf), but it’s only about 40 minutes from Bryson City and the closest Hilton option in the area. As a Hilton Diamond Member, I was genuinely impressed. They upgraded me to a penthouse since the double-bed rooms were fully booked, which made the stay even better. Overall, a great experience from start to finish.

Had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast spread was delicious—definitely looking forward to coming back!

Classic resort. We were here 20+ years ago, since acquired by Hilton.major renovation to inn & course..original Don Ross The rooms in the main lodge are best; beautiful woodwork & convenient to great bar/griil….we enjoyed wings & trout & 1/2 price wine on Wednesday. Golf course looks great..,,having trouble rationalizing $200 green fee….but after a few beverages might be able to put it in bucket-list. Beautiful western NC….love Waynesville

Starting with the golf course it’s a fantastic property the front 9 is up there with some of the best! The putting green lit up at 9 is special and a lot of thought went into the lighting and putting green. The wedge park is spectacular. The room was clean and more than enough the shower was good water pressure fantastic. I also had the thanksgiving buffet offered on thanksgiving it was the 2ed best Thanksgiving food I’ve had in my life! This property should be proud it was a 10/10 stay Don’t think twice about booking this so glad I took a chance and stopped by on my drive from Nashville to…

My wife and I booked a room here for 2 nights to celebrate our Anniversary. I saw nothing on their website saying the golf course would be closed but to my surprise it was closed. I was told the practice areas were open for practice. They weren't. I was also told the course was due to open for play the following day. It wasn't. I live in Orlando Florida with 100's of course I could have booked at so this sucked. I wouldn't recommend.

There have been major renovations and the upkeep of the facilities and golf course are excellent. It’s now an 18-hole (vs. 27) which afforded a practice range and allowed them to reconfigure many holes. This is a quant, clean, and cheerful place to visit, golf, and eat. You can also zip into downtown Waynesville (about a mile) for all kinds of shopping and eating.

There was nobody at check in, with 3 groups trying to check in. No clear direction where to even go when checking in…it’s in the pro shop. Hallways are super narrow…had a lot of trouble getting the cart through. Door had a huge gap at the bottom. Bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned…hair In the sink, dust along the baseboards. Walls were paper thin…literally could hear the conversation next door. Could hear the man snoring next door as well. Carpet in bedroom wasn’t great. Bed was very uncomfortable. View of the parking lot was a nice touch! 👎 Will not be back. Would not recommend.

The Waynesville Inn & Golf Club is a truly beautiful and unique place to stay, especially if you appreciate charm and history. The hotel is nearly a century old (99 years!), and it carries that vintage character in a really cool way. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Their customer service really stood out and made a big difference in our experience. Our first night was in the original building, which was nicely furnished and definitely full of charm. The next night, we were moved to a room at Brookside, and it was a great upgrade. The view was absolutely stunning. The golf cou…

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Waynesville Inn. The service was truly the best we’ve ever received. As Hilton Diamond members, we stay at many Hilton properties each year, but this visit stood out above the rest. Tracie was incredibly kind and compassionate during our stay. We were in town for my husband’s mother’s passing, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. Her thoughtfulness and genuine concern meant so much to us during a difficult time. The property itself was beautiful and welcoming, but it’s the people—especially Tracie—that…

Beautiful location, quaint rooms (although a fridge would have been nice), the food and service for dinner was great too. The reason I'm knocking off a star is because when we got our bill for food there was an automatic gratuity of 20% added to our bill at the restaurant and the waitress did not tell us. I was adding a very large tip when I noticed it and I asked her and she said oh yeah they just add that automatically. Please let your customers know in advance - it was not on the menu. I would have left more (as was my intention) but sneakily adding it in was really deceptive.
