What People Say

In summary

The Mill Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and challenging layout that appeals to a variety of golfers. Many appreciate the course's scenic setting and the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues such as the need for structural maintenance, the presence of goose droppings, and occasional management decisions regarding cart paths and pace of play.

this course is absolutely beautiful. the reason im only giving 3 stars is becaue they have let the buildings fall apart. the structures here could be beautiful if maintained. I have built custom homes on the east coast for decades and could work wonders on this place. with some repair and rehab it could be a show stopper.

Very nice venue. Plenty of space. Decent catered food. Enough space for children to play or adults to socialize on the balcony.

I was surprised to see that the Hamilton County course had discontinued the military discounts for the weekend. Let's face it, the $2 discount wasn't about money. It was about respect. I know that many soldiers died on weekends. They were not allowed to say it's the weekend, let's pick this up on Monday. I hope no one from Hamilton County courses thanks me for my service...it would be an empty gesture.

Nice mix of holes. A few are going to need some serious green and fairway repair though. A few of them need a bell to signal the group behind.

First time play here. Very good condition. It was cart path only due to the heavy rain prior. Easy going pace and still finished 4.5 hours. No complaints, highly recommended.

Course was in great shape. Hats off to the ground crew. The customer service in the clubhouse is excellent as well.

We just finished our round and I would have given the course a five but I can't do to the fact we were told cart path only. The course was in great shape and not wet enough to require this. I asked after we finished our first nine if they had gotten word we could at least cross at 90 on fairways. I was told NO you must stay on cart path. There was no reason for this. I have golfed long enough to know if the ground is to wet to drive on. Bad decision by management.

I've played the Mill course a handful of times over the past few years and this past round was the best course conditions I can recall. Despite the deluge of rain that had fallen the previous day and a half, the fairways were not sopping wet, and the greens still had plenty of speed and roll. 10/10 in course conditions had a personal best drive on hole 11. Got some nice draw up over some trees and into the fairway. Rough was thick and swallowed the ball, but the balls were easily found when in general location of where the ball landed. There was still a distance penalty for hitting the rough…
