In summary

The Cedars Golf Club is noted for its challenging and interesting layout, which some players find appealing. However, the course has faced significant criticism for its poor maintenance, with issues such as dry and cracked greens, unkempt fairways, and inadequate facilities being frequently mentioned. Additionally, there are concerns about the availability of carts and the overall value for money given the current state of the course.

This golf course is TERRIBLE! I brought my family here on Friday and was so embarrassed! It was not the course I remembered playing in the past. The "greens" were brown, there was garbage along the paths, mole holes in the fairway, and the tee boxes were so dry our tees would break when we tried putting them in the ground. We were also told that they were sold out of carts but saw 8 sitting outside. The clerk in the clubhouse told us that it didn't matter if we played the front or back 9 because "they were so slow". The restaurant isn't open either. We were told it was shut down at the beginni…

Sad place. Was once a good course in a beautiful setting. Now it is "open" for play but basically abandoned. The owner should be sued for golf course neglect. All the greens are either dead or overgrown. Your ball wont roll. Dont pay to play here, you will feel ripped off.

The course is in really rough shape. I'm giving 3 stars because for $40 and a cart for 18 it was a good price and the course is interesting and challenging. You can tell however it's been neglected and some guys playing told us they shortened the course for homes being built. I'd be back of it's taken care of better.

This course is amazing! We were able to see so many extra landmarks while we were on the greens! For example, they take such good care of the green below that we were able to see the Grand Canyon and the Sahara Desert, all in one stop! Not to mention the rocky fairway! This gave us the opportunity to look for small patches of grass just so we wouldn't damage our clubs. I can really appreciate how much the owners dgaf bout maintaining any part of this course as clearly foolish people like our group were willing to actually pay money to play there. The good news is, now I know better! I truly w…

Not long ago, I went to 18 holes with my husband after paying 100 dollars. But the condition of the grass was really bad and I was so upset that they managed it and let me play golf for money. There were wheel marks and uncared for on the green, and the grass was all cracked up as if the ground were splitting during a drought. I had no idea where to put the ball and the bare ground was revealed. I think they should close the door and stop doing business if they are going to manage like this. This is the worst golf course I've ever been to. I won't go again and I'll never recommend it to anyone…

Don't waste your money or your time with this golf course. Today was the second time (reluctantly) I have played here in two months. It was a with a large group of guys that likes to go out and play a best ball tournament. We arrive to the course in time to warm up and then head out to play... only one problem. The carts we paid for were all out on the course. Seriously this place ran out of golf carts and delayed our tee time an HOUR before we could even start. No biggie, we all understood and waited patiently to play, we had already paid and made the arrangements in our schedule to play anyw…

I played here Sunday 28 July. Honestly, I was dumbfounded at the condition. The course is a complete and utter mess. It's shameful, the current state is a far cry from where it was a few years ago. Tee boxes look like the temporary ones but aren't. Fairways are mostly sand with a strand of grass here and there. Greens are okay'ish but super bumpy. Golf wise, I left in awe at how the course condition is, especially with the amount of rain we get. Maybe there's a reason for some bad areas, but not the entire course. We did see the beverage cart regularly which was welcomed on a hot day, we also…

Played the front 9 with my father. We were shocked at how poorly the course was maintained. The bunkers were not only hard sand but had weeds and moss growing for several months. At $25 for 9 it really isn't worth it. One tee box was so dried out I couldn't get my tee in. 4 of the greens had massive cracks across half of it and on all the greens it was so even your ball would bounce when putting. The course is challenging and would be worth it had it actually been maintained. By far the worse golf course I've played at. Just down the street there is an executive golf course that's a pair 9 and…

Was really disappointed with this course. A friend and I played the back 9, first hole(10) was in okay shape as it was near the houses. The rest though were in really rough shape, white cap mushrooms on the fairway easily mistaken for your ball, the "rough" right off the fairway was easily 8 or more inches tall(lost a few balls in it) greens had dead patches. Overall just rough shape, god help you if you have to go near the water hazards. I have contacted their facebook page and am awaiting a response, I asked if the front 9 is in any better shape than the back 9. People might call me cheap…

The course is getting in better shape than was a year or two ago. The greens are in really excellent shape with big slopes on the greens on many holes. The fairways are cut good on the edges but the grass in fairways are chewed up bad and hard to hit off of. For 25.00 to walk I think is a little too high for the course condition. 20.00 would be more reasonable. I shoot mid 80's so this is decent place to practice at since the greens rolls very well and thats what makes up for the conditions elsewhere. The bunkers need alot of work on. The layout of the course is nice. If they can get the fairw…

Please don’t waste your time. Not only are the greens not green, but they are cracked dry dirt. One hole was even closed. They are not really putting any water to the course they’re not keeping track of it, and several times we saw a lot of workers sitting around in golf carts talking and not doing a thing. I guess all the money is going to the new housing development and not much into the golf course anymore. Your money is better spent elsewhere

If they have free Friday with a cart, burger, fries and a beer DON'T GO!!! This is the worst golf course on the whole west coast!! I can't believe that it's still open. I had a free round and only had to pay $15 for a cart for 18 holes and that was a complete rip off. They need to shut this landfill down. I've never seen such a poorly maintained golf course!!! If I could rate it as a negative 5, I would but that options not available on Google.
