In summary

St. Anne's Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, scenic layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a good challenge with its hilly greens and is considered a great value for the price. However, some players have reported issues with sprinklers being active during play and have expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service in these instances.

One of my favorite courses in the area. Love the seclusive scenery. Teeing off from shaded areas beneath the trees into open fairways. The greens are large and not overly challenging. Just a nice overall set up. Ran by a friendly staff that maintains it well. 👍

I've played this course a lot in the past 10 years. A few rough spots on the course because of all the rain, but overall it is an enjoyable 18 hole course.

Nice course, the layout and scenery is very nice. We played a scramble here. Recently, the greens were aerated. This made the greens difficult to read and roll the ball. However, the greens did not make this a bad round. I would definitely recommend this course, and I will go back at some point. It's a 1.5 hour drive from home.

2020.8.28. Played today with my friend for 1st time here. It is a little nice course. Fairways are hard as rock so your ball will bounce a long way. Selling point is the greens, which have many slopes and challenges, and the quality is really top notch for a local course. 20 bucks and play as many holes as you want with cart - that price is hard to beat! We played 27 holes and would like to play more but got pulled out by weather. Overall a really good course and would like to come back to play again.

What a day to remember at St. Anne's Golf Course! 🌟 Our crew—Lukas, Chase, Brandon, Brenden, Sam, and Jake—set out for an adventure that was part golf, part comedy, and all unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the course greeted us with breathtaking views and the kind of fresh air that makes you feel like you can conquer anything… or at least a par 3. The rolling greens looked immaculate, and we were all feeling like pros (despite our usual slice-and-dice approach). Chase kicked things off with a warm-up swing that could only be described as "a majestic bird taking flight." Unfortunate…

I grew up and learned to play here and made a return to play with old hometown friends. I have never been treated the way we just were in the club house. The sprinklers were on on 3 different greens through our first 9. The last time was on hole 18 (right by the club house). These were turned on while we were ON the green. The worst is yet to come. When I walked in the club house to explain the situation to Robin, he proceeded to laugh and tell me “maybe you needed a bath”. This is after not only we got wet, but our carts were in direct path of the sprinklers, causing our valuables to get wet…

The staff were extremely friendly and our group had a great time playing this course on a Saturday morning. The course and greens were well kept, and the course is a good challenge. The greens were some of the toughest we have played in awhile as the majority of them are hilly and create for a difficult approach. Overall, this is a great course for the value and we will be back when we visit this area again in the future.

I too have had a bad experience with the golf course. We got soaked from the sprinklers on the back 9 and Robin proceeded to laugh at us! Terrible customer service. You need to bring a raincoat or bring a tarp to cover your stuff in your cart. We got offered and I quote a “rain check” without a cloud in sight. My dad also helps sponsors the holes when they have outings AND this is how they return the favor. The mannerism shown from the clubhouse is awful. If you want to play a better course head down highway 3 and play at wyaloosing.

St. Anne's is a nice public golf course nestled near the little town of North Vernon, IN. The golf course itself is in incredibly good shape considering the drought conditions this year.

I was there dropping off some cutting units I had sharpened for their mowers. Lots of hard core golfing going on around here is all I can say. It was about to cut loose, rain, lightning and thunder. Everyone ran into the building and was begging the manager there if he was going to let them continue golfing in the storm. Of course he wasn't willing to let them with all the lightning. Haven't been much into golfing myself, but this place was really nice, clean, and everyone seemed to be in good spirits considering the storm and all.

We really like playing there except for the last time on July 3rd 2024.They had the sprinklers on while we tried to play golf, I called the clubhouse and they said they usually run 30 minutes and they didn't know how long they'd been on so we tried to hit our drives or putts through them or wait maybe 30 minutes to play a hole.
