I highly recommend playing here. Easy enough for a beginner and professional alike, to get around the course and have a fun round. Lots of deer to see and different types of birds. The greens were easily rolling 12 on the stemp. Lots of leaves in the fairway and on the greens, but all in all, I had a fun time.

First time playing here with friends that have played here before. They said it was a great course and they weren't lying. The course is in great shape and beautiful to play on. The greens and fairways are all well kept and very scenic. The bunkers make the course challenging enough for everyone. Theres a putting green, range and a decent bar/lounge. The only downside was no water in the jugs along the course. A nice public course that you will enjoy! May 30, 2023-Player a round here today and had a great time. Pace of play was great and the course was in nice shape.

The golf course is in great shape. Nice course to walk. Great layout. My main issue is with the ground crew. They spread chemicals while you are playing right next to you. This should not be allowed .These chemicals have negative effects in your health and should not be allowed during play.

Great service and great course. One of the best courses I have ever played. And I've played peeble beach. But the service was so prefect. Would 100% recommend to others.

Spook Rock golf course can’t say enough about the fabulous greens. The wonderful fairways tea boxes are in good shape as they rotated periodically. The staff at the clubhouse is phenomenal. The greens keeper staff is absolutely amazing they keep the golf course in phenomenal shape a wonderful gem in Rockland county.

Horrible shape. The course looks abandoned. Rocky sand traps, grass up to my knees. Shaggy greens. Spook rlRock has gone down hill. When I tell people I play spook rock they say oh I hear that's a nice course. Nor anymore I tell them. 90 dollars on a Monday after 2pm. Don't waste your money here. There are many nicer courses in the area to play. If I could give 0 stars I would. Oh and the surfsides were piss warm.

Have been playing the course for 20+ years and love the course layout. Would like to see three things improve. First and foremost is for them to cut down the tall grass surrounding the greens. The grass is so thick (about six inches tall) that anytime you slightly overshoot a green it takes several minutes to locate a ball, if you even can. I only want to see it cut because it slows the speed of play having to look for a ball that is 15’ off of a green instead of being able to locate your ball and chip up quickly. Second item is the lack of a ranger to speed play on busy weekends. Third item i…

This is a nice track. Fair holes, but it was tough to find balls in the rough today. Definitely worth a round.

I grew up in Suffern and while I've been living on the Jersey shore since 1991, Spook Rock was/is such a special part of my life. I just played in the 5th annual Member Guest. The head pro Jim McCann is an amazing human being. His enthusiasm is contagious and his love for the game and sincere appreciationfor the members is continually on display. Assistant Chris Cohen is a terrific young man with a bright future. He's always looking to help any way he can to ensure each golfer has a great experience. The culture at Spook Rock is one of the best I've ever seen. The course is in great shape and J…
