In summary

Sandridge Country Club receives high praise for its well-maintained courses, particularly the Dunes and Lakes layouts, which are appreciated for their strategic design and challenging play. The staff is frequently mentioned as friendly and accommodating, and the amenities, including new golf carts and practice areas, enhance the overall experience. While most reviews are positive, there are occasional mentions of slow pace of play and isolated incidents of miscommunication regarding course scheduling. Overall, the club is considered an excellent value and a top choice in the Vero Beach area.

The Dunes Course at Sandridge Golf Club is a five-star layout. Thoughtful design, great routing, and a course that rewards smart positioning without being overly punishing. It’s fun, strategic, and very playable. Conditions were excellent extremely well manicured from tee to green. Staff was professional and everything ran smoothly. There’s visible construction near the entrance with trucks and building activity, and it looks like a new clubhouse and pro shop are in the works, which should be a great addition. Great value and a really enjoyable round. Easy five stars.

Sandridge is the best public golf course in the area including 2 championship 18 hole courses with very nice greens, a general practice green(no chipping) for warm-up before your round, 3 practice greens with sand traps, large driving range, friendly staff and reasonable rates. A must stop for any avid golfer.

This course is excellent! The greens are the highlight! Fast and smooth! The Dunes course layout is fun and challenging.....long par 3s. Staff is super friendly! Practice areas are great and they had ice machines and water available, so bring your water bottles!

Amazing golf for the money! There are ice and water machines on the course, so bring your reusable water bottle. Cart guy could have been a little friendlier telling me where to go since it was my first time there. But starter and clubhouse guy were good and the golf was great. We'll definitely be back.

Sandridge is a popular course in Vero Beach. After playing I can understand why. For a county owned course it was in excellent condition. Indian River County should be proud of their courses. The Dunes and Lakes. Currently under construction with a new clubhouse and parking lot Sandridge is a busy place. Despite this the folks there are friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try.

I was sent to Vero Beach the last minute for business. I figured I would find a place to go golf before the freeze came in back home. I reached out to the golf pro Bela via email to find out about renting clubs (emergency trip and only in town for less than 48 hrs) she got back to me right away. She gave me all the info for 9 holes and booked the tee time. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, so I contacted the pro shop. The gentleman took my call was fantastic. He was able to move my teatime. I still arrive late due to my flight coming in even later and they accommodated me quickly politely…

Lakes course is absolutely beautiful! Green all over - not a dead or brown spot to be seen. Sneaky fast greens, nice mix of challenging holes. Highly recommend. Updated review: got time to play 18 on the Dunes course today. Greens are still fast, beautiful layout, I think I like the openness of Lakes a little more but Dunes is just as great! Updating pictures as well. First 3 are Lakes, last 3 are Dunes

Very nice course in great condition. Just got an entire fleet of new golfcarts with GPS. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Challenging and beautiful course, lots of water and sand traps. One hole has 14 sand bunkers on it. Definitely recommend. Rates are reasonable. It's our favorite course in Sebastian, Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce area.

This 36 hole course is in great shape but I had a bad experience. I booked 18 on the Dunes on Sunday and after 9 holes I was told to get off the course by the retiree tournament they had going on. I told the starter and he sent me to the Lakes, which were so backed up I ended up leaving. When I told the starter on my way out, he said “huh”. Didn’t say sorry, didn’t offer a rain check for 9 holes, nothing. A starter should determine who’s playing and where, not some random old guy trying to impress his 80 yr old girlfriend. There are a ton of great courses in the area at comparable price point…

Beautiful course. Fairly open but still challenging. Greens were true with an above average speed. Cant wait to play again. Both courses are in great shape.

Beautiful course in outstanding condition. Have not played on a better conditioned or manicured course in the area. Construction of new clubhouse looks to be coming along and will be a fantastic upgrade.
