In summary

Sailfish Sands Golf Course receives praise for its challenging layout, enjoyable par 3s, and well-maintained greens, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers additional amenities such as a restaurant and hitting bays, which are well-received for their quality and service. However, some visitors express concerns about the high fees, inconsistent course conditions, and occasional issues with staff service and cart functionality, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

What a wonderful place, I mentioned I was traveling in from Alaska as a PGA Associate, they rolled out the red carpet. Wonderful and tough/tight course tucked away in a place you would never expect! Great beer and wings at the bar too, buy one get one beer is always nice after a hot winter day in Florida. 😂🙌🏼

Very difficult to write this…..I have played golf here since 1991. Always enjoyed the course and the amazing wild life on the course. I considered it one of the best public courses to play. Not any more. The winter rates however have gotten over the top and drove the locals away. Somewhere around $100. I am a summer member. I played last week for the 1st time since the Fall. I was extremely unhappy with the course condition. The fairways were so over grown with clumps of grass/ weeds covering the fairways, I couldn’t believe it. The greens were mostly in good shape. All flags are all white ( m…

Came to play on vacation, staff did not tell us we needed full golf attire before arriving and when we got there they were rude and barely talked to us except telling us we needed to buy polos. Wouldve been fine paying $90 per polo to play but they ruined our day with how stuck up they acted. This should be a private club instead of a public course if you need to dress up to play (especially since this is one of the only public courses in the area)

I played their 9 hole course today. It's in terrible shape and grossly overpriced. The kid in the pro shop (he wasn't more than 16 years old) assumed I was a non-resident and tried to charge me the non-resident price. I said I was a resident and he was clearly hesitant to believe me. After showing him my drivers license, he then questioned if my guest (my wife) was a resident. Ridiculous. After our 9 hole round on their grossly overpriced course, we stopped into their restaurant/bar for a quick bite to eat. The service was terrible. So much so that I had to flag down a staff member to bring us…

10/10 recommend! After a long wait, Sailfish Sands Restaurant and Hitting Bays are finally open! Our family made a night of it Friday after Thanksgiving. Hitting Bays are exactly like Top Golf 👌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻High quality. Ate at the restaurant before our golf bay reservation…. food was delicious!! Service was 10/10. Reservations were easy to make. Special shout out to our golf bay waiter, Riley. Very friendly and attentive. So cool to have something like this locally (and hidden away)! Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend getting in before people discover it’s open!

This course has so much potential but falls short. If they spent half as much on course maintenance as they did on their new building and annoying carts, it would be amazing. Showing up the staff was wonderful and it looks like they're building a multi million dollar building. Very fancy carts (however too much control which made them annoying), but there's construction everywhere, lots of noise, and the course is in tough shape. They should stop construction and put some seed down and it will be a great course.

Took advantage of the winter and summer memberships the last couple of years…staff is great. The outside staff is amazing. Inside staff needs better resources to assist with check-in. Often struggle to get correct rate. Unfortunately the course (18 hole) is wildly inconsistent. Played yesterday and whoever mowed the greens butchered them. You can see the blade cuts on nearly every hole. Greens are very slow. Every time there is maintenance done it seems to take at least a month or more to even somewhat recover. The value for what is paid…even with the member or resident rate just isn’t worth i…

Great golf course! Played 18 for the first time, nice conditions, nice people, little noisy with the airport but it's cool to see planes taking off couple hundred feet beside you! Great experience will definitely come back!

Went in with family to have a good time the service (waitress Bella or fibi)was terrible if your a server your attitude and how you talk to people is key to ensuring you make money not sure how they don’t get that concept spoke to the manger Janel and I see where everyone gets their attitude, from her.place is empty on a Saturday 5:00pm need to change your people including bartender

Played the 18 hole course. I liked the course, thought it was a fair test and conditions good. I did not really think it was worth the non-resident rate ($100). $65 to $70 would be fair. They are working to improve the course (removing brush). I though that the most challenging part of the course was the greens (raised greens, slopes etc). The course is nice visually but the airport, surrounding homes, industrial surroundings not that attractive. The complex has an additional 9 hole course, driving range, restaurant etc.

The staff here obviously doesn’t enjoy their job, not many good interactions with them. They open at 6:30am according to store hours but don’t even try to act like they are until 7:00am. I waited 20 minutes for someone to check me in for my 7:09am tee time before I decided it wasn’t worth my time. Maintenance always crowds me when I play this course and doesn’t give right of way to the golfers. $100 a round is ridiculous especially considering the terrible tee boxes. do not recommend even to beginner golfers

Excellent place to take family and friends. Much better than topgolf! The second time we went back though our big screen TV was not working can only view the simulator on the little screen. It's harder for the golfer and the whole group to view it on the same Little screen.
