In summary

Rustico Resort is highly praised for its stunning oceanfront setting, unique geodesic domes, and exceptional dining experience at Dahlia, with many guests appreciating the friendly and welcoming staff. However, some visitors express disappointment with the golf course's condition and the lack of certain advertised amenities, such as tennis courts and a completed sauna. Despite these criticisms, the resort is often recommended for its peaceful atmosphere and picturesque views.

This is a must see / do on your trip to PEI! The surroundings are breathtaking and the domes are incredibly beautiful, with a magnificient view of the water (doesn't get much better than that). The food and the service were next level, with incredibly welcoming staff. I would not hesitate to book here!

I stayed at Rustico Resort for several days and was blown away by the breathtaking view. The domes are situated close to the water away from the rest of the golf course. I was impressed with how chic, clean, and functional the dome was. The decor was beautiful and relaxing. It was such a nice quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. I loved how peaceful it was to hear birds chirping while watching the sunrise and rippling water on the chairs out back. Another highlight for me was the food. Every dish I tried at Dahlia was delicious! My favourite was the lobster roll and the fish…

The good: Restaurant was unbelievable. Exceptional food, value, and service. I would go back just for the restaurant. The domes were spacious, clean, modern, and nicely decorated. The A/C worked well but they get quite cold at night and the space heater is quite small, lot of blankets provided but wouldn't recommend unless staying there in the warm summer months. The beds were comfortable although my wife and I would have preferred one king bed vs two queens. I was impressed with how nice the washroom/ shower was and the waterfront views were beautiful. The bad: The golf course is a bit of a…

I really enjoyed our time here. The dome rooms gave a nice fantastic view when in them, and a very comforting place to relax at the end of the day. The Hosts and staff are very kind and attentive and johnny on the spot with anything you need. Wake up early and enjoy some golf, grab one of the best breakfasts on the Island at Daliah's and end the day with absolutely the best dinners you are going to have on PEI. It is crazy to think just a few years ago this resort was devastated by a hurricane. They have recovered well and continue to build it up. Well worth the trip to PEI and staying here.

The geodesic domes are perched on the edge of the ocean, offering stunning panoramic views. Waking up to the sunrise and stargazing at night from the comfort of our bed was an experience we'll be talking about for years. The food at Dhalia was top-notch. We had an amazing time beachcombing and sea kayaking. But what truly made this trip special was the staff. Each person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Thank you for an incredible experience!

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Rustico Golf Resort. The view from the Dome is majestic. We experienced both breathtaking sunset and sunrise and stayed late night stargazing. Excellent service by the staff. The golf was excellent as my son, daughter and friend golfed every day and enjoyed every minute of it.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, we had a memorable stay in the domes star gazing out over the ocean from our cozy beds! My husband and daughter had a great round of golf as well. Food was delicious we had breakfast and supper here! Such a hidden gem in PEI

Very slow on the front nine. Greens are good but the rest of the course is in very rough shape with lots of rocks just off some fairways. The bunkers are full of rocks so you can't use them if you value your clubs. Cart we had died on hole 16. We had to walk the last 3 holes. When I approached a person at the clubhouse at the end of the round, he said, "Oh, you should have just called us and we would have run another cart out. We just ran a cart out to someone else". I just turned around and walked away without saying anything since he obviously didn't think it was a big deal. I didn't want to…

Rustico Resort Golf Course Review – August 2025 I played Rustico Golf Course in PEI this past weekend, and I honestly left pretty disappointed. The course was in terrible shape, I’d say around 50% of the grass across the course was completely yellow. The fairways were so bad they felt more like rough. It really didn’t look like anyone was maintaining the place at all. I get that every course has its ups and downs, but this wasn’t just a few bad patches, it was the whole course. What made it worse was getting charged $180 for two golfers to play. For that kind of money, you’d expect decent co…

Not sure what a green fee goes for lately, but the greens were kept in nice shape. I noticed they were extremely soft in comparison to other courses I've played this year. It was sometimes difficult to tell what was fairway and what was rough. Played 18 on a Sunday and didn't see the cart girl once :(

We had a fantastic stay at Rustico Resort! The service was truly spectacular, the food was absolutely delicious, and everyone we met was so welcoming and kind. It’s a cool glamping experience right on the ocean, with stunning views from the golf course. Such a beautiful and relaxing place—highly recommend!
