In summary

Rotonda Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained courses, friendly staff, and scenic setting, with many visitors appreciating the recent improvements to the greens and fairways. The club offers a variety of challenging layouts across its five courses, catering to different skill levels, and is noted for its welcoming atmosphere and convenient amenities. However, some reviews mention past issues with course conditions, particularly following hurricane damage, though efforts to address these concerns are acknowledged.

Julie was the dining manager and wedding coordinator for my wedding yesterday. She was absolutely wonderful and turned the wedding venue into a paradise. She even had her staff wear Hawaiian shirts! My guests said the food and service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!!

After 35 years in Englewood, and playing rotunda courses 100's of times. My recent outing with my 3 sons at the Rotonda Hills course was the best I've ever seen. The renovation on the greens came out amazing, they're rolling, true and cut tight. The overseeding on the fairways grew in great and are probably the best I've ever seen them. The hot dogs at the turn were, some of the best in the area to my hot dog connoisseur boys!!! Hats off to management!!! Good job fellas!!!

During my 10 years of living in SW Florida, I was always under the impression that Rotonda Golf & Country Club was a private club. It wasn’t until my sister moved there that I discovered that the public was welcome to play it, too. In the few times I’ve played it since then, I’ve always had a great time. The courses are always in good condition, they are challenging, and priced right, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Rotonda West community is located in southwest Charlotte County, Florida, less than a mile from the Gulf of Mexico, and Englewood Beach. It is a deed-restricted communi…

Courses are in great shape. The new golf carts with premium seating are a huge benefit during the round. Nice touch

I must say I have been impressed with the efforts of ownership and management to bring the golf courses back to respectability. We as golfers want the courses we patronize to first be staffed with friendly, caring people and secondly have a decent lie in the fairway if we're fortunate enough to hit the fairway and lastly once we reach the green we'd like to have a chance to make a putt using our skills. Other than Long Marsh, that has not been the case of late. However, I now know why and what I see is a concerted effort on the part of ownership and staff to remedy the issues at hand caused b…

I am in a group that plays Pinemore twice a week. The course had some issues with the greens, but they are coming around. The grounds crew is doing a great job of cleaning up from the hurricanes. I would like to thank David Kelly, I write a motorcycle, it broke down, David Kelly happen to be driving by with an empty trailer. He stopped ask my problem said he had time to haul my bike to my house. We loaded the bike, haul it to my home and unloaded it. I am sure David hears a lot of complaints about golf course conditions, they have had Covid, three hurricanes, and lots of other issues I assume.…

Love these courses. Easy to get to, easy to park, always had a fast pace. I’d recommend you check the yardage before booking. Long Marsh is tough with many long holes and water. The Palms is much more open. Be on time or you’ll wait or lose your spot completely. Carts have to be in a bit early but that’s really my only complaint. One upside of the hurricane is there are less trees to snag my ball…good well maintained courses.

The Palms Is an EMBASSMENT!@@@ I am not a member however I have been coming to Rotonda since 2018. Currently the Palms golf course and most noteably their GREENS are completely diseased . No average golfer would even pay $10.00 to be subjected to this degree of poor quality. You are better off going to an indoor simulator than to play The Palms. If you are not a member You are better off spending $20.00 more and going to Heron Creek or Riverwood. If you are a member you are getting taken advantage of and someone should say something to the current managers. On the day I played I stopped after…

Played all the courses on multiple occasions. Plenty of variety and challenges to be had amongst amazing surroundings. Long Marsh is the pick, with 3 very different 9 hole tracks available. Depending on time of year and maintenance schedules you may get to play different combinations of the 9s. Get directions where to go before you leave the clubhouse....Pine Valley and Long Meadow are a 5 minute buggy drive to the start and it is easy to set off in the wrong direction. Once underway it's obvious where to go.

I played the Hills on last week and the greens were absloutely atrocious. Loaded with sand and what I assume is disease. So we tried the Palms this week thinking it might be better, and it was worse, like putting on the beach. you know the old saying Fool me once............. that being said I wont be going back anytime soon there are plenty of other places in the area that are in 100 times better condition.

From Mark at cart drop to Jen in pro shop and John as starter, it was a beautiful first experience at the course. Love how the houses are so far off fairways. Not like others like Waterford, Calusa and Capris Isles. We loved course and hospitality of the highest caliber! Thank you.

We played at 2 of the 9 holes courses at Rotunda West GC ...we stayed only few blocks away but it took us 40 minutes trying to find the courses. The signage or lack thereof to the course on the main road made it very difficult to find the place, there are 5 courses and the website all point to 1 course location, and the name of the streets are rediculous. Rotunda east, west, same street name but with Lane, Circle. Road, when called for directions, the proshop people tend to not tell you the extension of the street (whether it's lane, road, Circle, etc). There are NO signage on the courses them…
