In summary

Rocky Crest Golf Club is highly praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, challenging yet fair layout, and stunning natural surroundings in Muskoka. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, excellent dining options, and the overall atmosphere of the club. However, some guests note the absence of a beverage cart on the course and occasional issues with certain members' behavior, which can detract from the experience.

We had the shrimp duo, Caesar salad, haddock fish and chips, strip loin steak, grilled snapper, strawberry lemonade, carrot cake. Beautiful surroundings, excellent service and food and drink was delicious and beautiful presentation.

Played the front nine late afternoon. Beautiful course. Greens are fast. Wonderful way to spend a few hours on Canada Day. The last time I played here was in the 80’s when Masters champ Craig Stadler came up to play in a media event

First time visiting the golf course, the driving range and the Bistro restaurant, bar and patio at Rocky Crest Golf Club, Hamer Bay, Lake Joseph in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. The course was top notch from cart paths, to tee boxes, to the rough, the fairways, bunkers and greens. There are no beverage carts on the course so get drinks, sandwiches and snacks at the tent setup at the 1st/10th. The range was well maintained and there was a generous putting green at the 1st/10th for getting used to the speed, undulations and grain. The Bistro restaurant, bar and patio was a hubbub of activity when we…

Beautiful course, at its finest in the fall season. Well maintained and interesting course theoighout. Very challening greens, more so in the rain. Enjoyed the round with the boys, well worth the trip!

Great golf course, worthy of its top 50 ranking in Canada. Beautiful finishing hole as you approach the clubhouse and the patrons on the patio watch you finish. The greens were in good condition, even early into the year. The course itself will provide some risk reward holes that will have you thinking about your strategy. They did not have a drink cart out on the course, just a tent at the first/tenth hole. When we got to the 10th hole, they were out of sandwiches so we had to go into the clubhouse to get those, not a problem, just not ideal. You can probably find better value out of other…

Beautiful course and stunning clubhouse. It’s beautiful from any angle looking at it. I’ve played the course 3 times for the season already and it’s in great shape for this time of the year. It was really hot recently and so the bugs were out and pesky. We also got take out from the restaurant and the chicken club sandwich was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time. Here’s a pic of the green (approaching) at the 9th hole.

Incredible course. Best greens I've ever played on and it was the middle of October. Challenging course with rolling hills but open making it very forgiving. Paved path through the entire round except one hole with a small break. Saw deer, fox and turkeys on the course. Golf carts are quick.

Fantastic track! Horse flies a little annoying but that's Muskoka in the summer. Great range, carts were superb. No beverage cart was a bit surprising and disappointing in that heat. Should have been water / ice in carts. New boss man Adam will fix things soon.

Course was in excellent shape and layout was awesome, true fast Clublink rolling greens. Reason the review is so low is upon beginning our round, starter told us we could go 30 feet before the green and hit our shot then loop back to the cart path if our ball ends up after the exit cart stakes so we did exactly that. Upon completion of our round, we were then welcomed by a screaming angry member saying we were driving on the greens which was definitely not the case and he continued to call us peasants. Even the staff had agreed he was being rude, saying its a common occurrence from him, unfort…
