Red Fox Run Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and scenic layout with elevation changes and majestic pines. The course accommodates all skill levels with features like larger "Big Cup" holes and youth-friendly tee markers. Nice course. Some challenging holes but even a novice golfer can handle it. My son said, "Don't get discouraged at the next hole." What? Discouraged? Never! Even got a punch card!

Golf course is is great shape, not overly busy and carts are quiet. AND GREEN FEES ARE AFFORDABLE, highly recommend!

This course is a challenging woods course with smooth greens and strategically placed sand traps. Unfortunately the clubhouse looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s, there are no locker rooms, cold or pantry food options, limited selections for alcohol, and some restricting policies that limit the freedoms other golf courses in the area offer (i.e. carts in by 9, no tee times past 6p-7p differing depending on employee, and no group golfing over parties of 4). The staff is always polite and personal, and the improvements made throughout the years have surpassed what I could have imagin…

Only 2 stars because the staff was friendly. Extremely overpriced, $34 for 9 with a cart. Wouldn't mind but course is trash minus the greens. Fairway, rough, and tee boxes are all the same length. I'd pay maybe $15 for 9 holes.

this is a wonderful track located on an old air force base just outside of Marquette, MI in the community of Gwinn, MI. The course is a lower end operating budget but has a lot of great features. I play here often and the pace of play is very good. The course design is moderate. It has its very easy, straight ahead holes. But then it has it holes that are longer, one par three is difficult because of the size of the green from front to back is very small. Then some holes follow the natural landscape which causes some big blind shots and elevation changes. The BEST part of this golf course is…

The course was nice and in good shape and the club house was clean. Electric carts nice. Disappointed in the schedule of the mowing. Had a nice round going and cutting fairways at 11:00.

Although much of the front nine was being arreated, and the turf in general was not up to Gentz Homestead which I played the day before, I very much recommend Red Fox. Beautiful elevation changes. Majestic pines. Surprisingly tricky, well kept greens. More surprising was this was the best driving round of my life. Driving with my stiff shaft, 1988 7-degree loft Mizuno MST and 77 year old bod, I was in play on the best side or deep down the fairway, until stamina gave out, and I lost one, right, between towering red pines it was worth touring on 15. Struggled to stay off the driving range at 18…

Interesting course near an old Air-force base. Open and hilly. A great place for a round of golf! Stay for lunch afterwards.

Sicee under new ownership this golf course is the cats meow! 18 holes of exciting golf action! They just opened their grill, and from what I see Dave Fairbanks has done am excellent job representing the U.P. Since Dave took over Red Fox Run it has been the choice course for such visitors as Jack Nicholas and many more. They aren't choosing RFR for no reason! RFR also puts a lot of emphasis on charity, specifically Wounded Warrior's. Special thanks to Dave Fairbanks for taking time out to remember the sacrifices those men and women have made!

Friendly staff. $19 to walk 9 holes. Tough greens, easy to 3 putt, especially the par 3 holes. Course is in good shape.

Municipal style walkable course, nice layout. Not the greatest fairways but greens were in good shape.
