Awful experience. Haven’t played here since i was a kid and i never will again, empty course but still hounded by the ranger who had no problem charging my buddy 30$ for a rental set but allowed others to roam free jeans and hoodies. They can’t be bothered to manicure their greens or replace their faded and torn flags. Fiber glass splitter pulling a pin was the icing on the cake for me. 10/10 never again

It’s not Shinnecock, but it’s a lot of fun! Poxabogue is a well-maintained 9-hole course with excellent fairways and greens, offering just the right level of challenge for a relaxed round. It’s not a par-3 “pitch and putt” — there’s enough variety here to keep things interesting, especially for golfers looking to sharpen their short game without committing to 18 holes. A great spot for an enjoyable, quick round in a beautiful setting.

Great local 9 hole golf course to practice on. Well kept local public course, excellent for practicing chip and putting. Friendly helpful staff and good restaurant for breakfast or brunch.

Required to pay a green fee for girlfriend to walk the course with me because it is an "insurance liability". Man with white hair and mustache in the pro shop was super rude about it as well.

Just visited a few weeks ago. The staff was super friendly. I took a lesson there and the instructor was so helpful. The balls on the range were in great shape and the putting greens were really nice. Truly enjoyed my experience here!

I had an amazing experience this past weekend at Poxabogue. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Laura was especially helpful when setting me up on the driving range as a newer golfer! Huge range with all brand new balls! Clean facilities and nice views. I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic driving range with some grass hitting areas towards the far end of the parking lot. There’s a putting area on the other side of the diner, near the first tee. It’s easy to get morning tee times online. Laura and Mike at the check in window are superb with a good sense of humor. John the greenskeeper is friendly and worth a chat on the course if you see him. My son and I walk the course and play a round in 60-80 minutes on a weekday morning. I’m sure weekends are much slower because it’s a great course for beginners. A lot of people seem to arrive and just eat at the onsite diner. G…

Nice executive golf course, decent shape, and fairly easy to get a tee time. Not the longest course but does the job. Driving range and cafe are strong.

Best burger on the trip. And there was some wagyu beef in MA to contend with. It was cooked perfectly and served with kindness and grace. Hats off to the chef.

Great place for 9 holes or driving range. Course is in good shape though tees moved way up as temporary this time of year. Play was slow as two groups of new golfers ahead, we worked around them and all was well. Pull carts available but no motorized carts here. We play here often, usually no crowd and nice course and nice people in pro shop. Little restaurant great for breakfast or lunch.
