Port Bay Golf Club

I recently moved to the area and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the experience at this golf course. Great prices on the greens fees and carts, well laid out course, and friendly staff. The total yardage is a little shorter than the average course, but the greens and pin locations can be very challenging.

Played the front 9- fun course ! Good variation on the holes , and the length. Greens were tricky, hole 8 was an adventure! Great course to have in wayne county!

This is a hidden gem. Very scenic and extremely well kept. The length is just right for the senior golfer, but the greens make up for that with slopes and pin positioning. You may leave yourself with a tough shot into the green, but a good lie. The people are friendly and the pace of play is very leisurely. It was a 50 mile drive for us to get there, but well worth it..

We rented a cottage down the road and I had a chance to play at this course daily, and I really enjoyed it. Very tricky course, you have to keep it straight and narrow in many places, and the greens are huge and rolling. The lady at the clubhouse was awesome.

Love this course! You can’t beat the price for a course with steady difficulty, creative hole design, and nice amenities. The front 9 has a bit more challenge than the back with holes 5, 6, and 7 being my favorite stretch.

Full 18 hole course well laid out. The length may appear short but it makes up for that with narrow shoots for fairways ditches ponds and lots of topography on the greens. They were in great shape yesterday rolled perfect.

Would be five except of our drought conditions have been tough on the fairways. Have played several courses recently and none had better greens and some a lot worse. Front 9 was open in places tight in others....ring the bell on 8...very fun spot!

They will send people off on the back 9 in front of you right when you’re making the turn. No rangers keeping pace of play. Finished front 9 in 1h30m, then had to walk off course after getting thru first 4 holes on back 9 in 1h45m due to slow players ahead of us who jumped in front at the turn. No rain checks allowed, and lady in charge said they “knew exactly who was slowing us down, but sorry”

Fantastic location and great people. Food was great. Would recommend!
