Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club

It should be a 5. Course was phenomenal. Beautiful views, great condition, fast greens; however, we were twice told we were playing slow. We finished in 4 hours exactly. There wasn’t a group within a hole and a half of us. Unnecessary pushing. Let people enjoy the round especially since we were holding no one up.

We had an outstanding Easter brunch at Pawleys Plantation Golf Country Club, followed by 18 holes of golf.We have had the pleasure of experiencing exceptionally excellent Easter buffet food. The spread featured an extensive array of options, including smoked salmon, shrimp, Italian cold meats, cheese, and other gourmet delicacies. Didn't stay just played golf and ate in the restaurant. Among my Top 5 Grand Strand tracks. Unfortunately I left my A, B, and C games in the trunk. Still a fun day on the course. Always a great challenge...especially if it gets breezy on the back holes. Course was in top shape and the service was as well. Food was very good and service there was excellent. Won't go wrong stopping in here to play.

Really good public course. Beautiful community with a lovely clubhouse. The conditions of the course were really good for the 1st of March. The Pace of play was surprisingly really good considering how busy it was. This is a very difficult course at times, especially the par 3's. Thoroughly enjoyed the place. Look forward to a return trip.

Outstanding, well-maintained golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The signature holes on 13 and 17 offer a unique challenge along with outstanding views of the marsh and Pawleys Island. The facilities, pro shop and on-site restaurant are excellent, with dining options that let you enjoy amazing views from the indoor bar or outside on the wraparound deck. A beautiful place in a beautiful town.

Many, many spots on the course burnt out. No rough to speak of in many areas so if your ball runs off Fairway, typically rolls all the way to woods or hazard areas. Greens were rock solid and most approach shots would run through. Very difficult just getting your tee into the ground on most tee boxes as well. Nice layout but certainly needs some maintenance.

Really nice golf course, I knocked off one star because I was told the range would be opening momentarily (for frost) and about 10 minutes later I got yelled at for stepping onto the putting green (nobody mentioned putting green and to be clear - there was no frost- range opened about 3 minutes after I got yelled at) Was not a cheap round (my daughter and my self) so didn’t really appreciate the bag drop guy acting like that. Holes 13 and 17 are particularly beautiful.

Great golf course, however the staff accusing my group of slow play even though we played at the recommended 4.5 hour pace was ridiculous. Then to have three different “rangers” follow us and watch us play our final three holes ruined the experience. Meanwhile our purchased, reserved tee time was 20 minutes earlier than when we started and we played in the middle of a ladies tournament which was a shotgun start. That explained why there were two holes with no one on them in front of us on our back 9. Yet we were rudely admonished that “we were holding up the entire golf course.” Three differen…

Visited for a wedding as a part of the bridal party - the staff was incredible. We had zero complaints, everything was decorated perfectly, the floral arrangements were breathtaking, the venue was well maintained. 1000/10 ⭐️

My wife and I recently got the chance to get out and play Pawleys. Holy cow what a facility!!!! Golf course couldn’t be prettier, and conditions were top tier as well. As far as the customer service , they couldn’t have been more friendly. If you’re looking for a facility for a memorable day don’t go anywhere else.

Annie Graham was truly the heart behind our WEDDING day! From the very beginning, she guided us through every detail with such care and organization, and on the actual day on May 31st 2025, she handled absolutely everything so we could just relax and soak it all in. Fabulous venue!! My daughter's wedding was this past Saturday, May 31, 2025. Annie Graham was our event coordinator and florist for the wedding. I cannot say enough about how professional Annie was & how beautiful the wedding was. She accommodated us to whatever we needed and strived to make us happy. The bartenders and wait staff were extremely polite and professional throughout the whole day!! All of the food was fantastic, we had so many guests come up to us to tell us that! Drinks were great too!! I would definitely recommend Pawleys Plantation for any event, especially a wedding!
