In summary

Paradise Valley Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and affordable pricing, with some visitors noting improvements in the greens and the addition of GPS-equipped carts. However, several guests have expressed concerns about the overall course maintenance, particularly the condition of the fairways and cart paths, as well as slow pace of play and unfriendly staff interactions. While some enjoy the course's value and setting, others feel the experience is marred by these issues.

Knight changes coming 2026 finally, coming around this should drastically improve the conditions. Current a dust bowl and could use a discount but looks like money has been spent!! Regardless, this is a nice course. It has a decent layout. There is pretty easy to find your ball, especially when the vegetation's trimmed at the beginning of the year and the hazards aren't too rough on you but can get crowded and their fairways can get skinny and you may run into a lot of other people playing on your fairway but it's a decent place. Driving range. Can definitely use some TLC as well.

I recently played here for the first time in 6 months and was very impressed with the improvements. The greens were in good shape, fairways too. As with most courses, there are areas that aren't perfect, but I have played at places that cost more than double what Paradise Valley charges that have been in much worse shape. It has some challenging holes with small greens and tight fairways, the carts have GPS and the pace of play was good.

Fun little course. Can be oversold so pace is often an issue. Conditions are iffy but greens are nice.

!!BEWARE!! This course is utter trash. Greens are somewhat decent, but every other shot is off dirt or patchy crabgrass. There is no difference between the fairways and rough; just more dirt. Dont waste your money. The course operators have no clue what they are doing, and they are extra rude to boot. Tons of better courses for the same price around St. Louis. (Basically every other course) If you want a goat track, this is the place for you. Zero stars wasn't an option.

Price is affordable, greens are good, fairways could be better but it was an enjoyable experience.

One of my favorite courses in the area and always has been! Very laid back with some fun holes in a remote setting. Recently went through some construction to make some improvements and it’s even better than it was in previous years. Mackenzie In the pro shop was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating with a small ride along fee, so my daughter could accompany me for a round. I’ve always had great experiences here And it will continue to be one of my go, two spots in the St. Louis area!

No problem getting tee times. It's just with the heat, the course is full of bare patches. Not much grass to play on.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. I paid $24 to play 9 holes, which is just unreasonable given the course conditions. Most of the fairways were more dirt than grass, and the overall upkeep was really poor. On top of that, pace of play was incredibly slow. No one was letting us play through, and there didn’t seem to be any staff managing the flow. It turned what should’ve been a relaxing round into a frustrating afternoon. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I wish I could get some money back.

It's very early in the year. Paradise valley has the best greens! I play a league there. The fringe is dodgy early in the year. Play this course. It really gets better late in the spring. It's not easy an easy trek. Well worth a look or an outing. B Rad

This golf course is horrendous. The staff is extremely rude, larger blonde front desk lady is extremely entitled and about as rude as it gets. Really just disappointing. Payed for 18 and got kicked off the course on hole 10 due to an even more disrespectful groundskeeper who cussed at my group then proceeded to go tell them to kick us out when we cussed back. We didnt get our money back and she was extremely rude while telling us we need to leave even though we complied we apparently weren’t complying fast enough(once again larger front desk lady). She then threatened if the carts didnt go fas…

This course is a absolute disaster conditions are poor but my main issue is that they schedule tee times so close together took me and my buddy 5 hours to get through a round still some how shot a 77 after not being warm all round cuz we had to wait 20 min on ever shot
