Osprey Links Golf Club

My very first time golfing was at Osprey. I don't have much experience to draw from, but this was a nice location. It seemed well staffed and well maintained. The staff seemed friendly. The service in the dining room was very good. We played 18 holes. Didn't feel rushed, finished in good time, and had a lot of fun learning!

Best public course in the North Bay area! Course conditions this year have been great! Greens and fairways are in great shape. Par 71. 6,442 yards from the back tees. Front 9 (par-36) is flat and open, but don't let that fool you. Plenty of water and bunker trouble to avoid. Front 9 also includes some long par-4's and hard doglegs over hazards. Not exactly a traditional links track, but a really interesting open parkland layout. Back 9 (par-35) is a completely different challenge, hilly, tight, and forested, which makes for a great mix. Par for the course! Osprey boasts a nice club for medium size occasions, very professional and friendly staff, immaculately maintained greens and a variety of hole difficulty. It is open to non-member play. The course is open for the first 9 holes so bring your sunscreen!

Ryan and I had our wedding at Osprey Links Golf Club house. The service was second to none. The food was great and the staff so welcoming. Lori and Jeff made making reception arrangements so easy and stress free for us. And not to mention the 18th hole has the back drop just so stunning. Highly recommend having your wedding here. Fantastic golf course. Great service! Owner is incredibly welcoming and more than hospitable. We had a group of 10 and drove an hour to golf here and couldn’t be happier.

Terrible experience! Staff/manager shadowed my group the entire length of the first hole and had us leave before starting the second hole. Do not go as a beginner golfer. You'll be treated very poorly

Today was the first time I took my Son out on a course (age 7). He is absolutely hooked after playing Osprey Links. What a great experience for both him and I. The hospitality from Jeff and his team was beyond amazing. The course is extremely beautiful and well thought out. We will definitely be returning as regular visitors. I've played this course for many years now, weather permitting throughout the season the course is kept in good shape and the variety of play through the front 9 and back 9 help shape and progress your skills as a golfer. Food is always good and the clubhouse is perfect size and style for this course. I could see how my experience could differ from first timers as the course rules are set in place and pace of play is important for this level of course but to me I feel at home playing here. I was extremely disappointed in this golf course. From the moment I showed up to the moment I left, it was completely disappointing. There was a help wanted sign posted within the pro shop, and know I understand why they need the help. The General Manager, Jeff, was not only rude to employees, but also paying guests. As we arrived early for our time, we were told that we needed to get on the tee immediately. As we looked, there was already a group on the tee, and a group just leaving the tee. As we said we would be going to the tee, the GM had told us not to bother playing, but to come inside…
