In summary

Orangeville Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and well-maintained, challenging nine-hole course that offers a peaceful setting away from busy roads. The course is particularly noted for its historical charm and suitability for both beginners and more experienced golfers. However, some visitors have mentioned issues with dry fairways and customer service, and a few have experienced dissatisfaction with course conditions during hot weather.

It was great and had a splendid time with the boys. Price was fair. 18 holes for 4hrs roughly. Would do again.

Great 9 hole course. I really enjoyed the 5th hole dogleg right as it runs along the Melville pond. I also loved the 8th hole par 3 with the steep drop to the green and the 9th hole dogleg left. Apparently this course has quite the history with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby playing here (see pic). It was built by Arthur Huston. His brother was a Movie director John Huston. John’s daughter is Angelica Huston who played Morticia on the Addams Family!! Ask the pro shop about it. Quite interesting.

Great course, grass was dry in some areas, could use some attention.

Great Track for a fine day of Golfing. Very friendly staff to help you out and start your day. This is a Nine hole course, with some very challenging holes. All this and more at a reasonable price. Enjoy your round! 😎👍⛳🏌‍♂️🥂

I cannot say enough about how welcoming this club is to youth players. Everytime I drop my son off with friends they are warmly welcomed and treated respectfully, never made to feel like a nuisance. Dawn has gone above and beyond more than once to ensure they have a great time. It feels like dropping them off to family. This kind of atmosphere is what helps young people develop respect in their community and helps to grow the next generation of focussed, polite and successful golfers. They understand the etiquette of the course because it is modeled for them in a friendly way. Thank you again…

My home away from home. Love the track, love the people working here. The perfect blue collar working man’s golf course. Has a unique feel to it a lot of places lack with their attempt to be fancier then they are instead of embracing it

Enjoyable course! Challenging enough for my game - fairways a bit dry but greens / bunkers in good shape. We will be back!

Unfortunately this course has suffered badly from our hot weather, it’s in pretty rough condition. Definitely wouldn’t recommend playing right now. Staff members were great though!

Nice little 9 hole course have been a junior member there for 3 years and inpressed what they did to the course this year to make it nicer. Could use a range and it would be nice if there was 18 holes instead of playing 9 twice But it's a nice course with great staff especially cheryl see is so nice.

This course is short and wide open. Most of the greens are not a lot of break. But the course is ln amazing shape. Greens are quick but not PGA fast. The staff are awsome. But you have to book on golf north website. Good for beginer.

Course has a good layout and some good holes, but the condition of it is not good at all. Fairways are rock hard and patchy/full of weeds and crab grass, the rough is even harder and patchier, the tee boxes are hilly and chunky. Greens aren't horrible but not great. The first hole is a par 5 which is reachable in 2 shots, but the green is the size of a postage stamp so good luck. Very frustrating to play because no matter where you land your shot, you will have a horrible lie for your next shot. Yardages seem at least 30 yards off on a few holes. Also didnt appreciate the guy spraying fertiliz…

9 hole course you play twice! This is my first time playing 9 twice, there are benefits. It really works here; even with minimal interaction we could tell the staff are really easy going and friendly. The course isn't near a highway like most other courses in the GTA and its dead quiet which makes for a peaceful round. Its challenging for anyone, no two holes feel the same. Walk it if you can, it's walkable and the cart fee is unusually hefty. Overall had a great experience here and will come back.
