Oak Haven Golf Club in Macon is appreciated for its fun and challenging layout, offering a good value for the price, especially for casual players and those new to the game. However, many visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with greens, fairways, and bunkers, as well as inconsistent customer service experiences. Nice course overall. Tight but quite playable for average player. Price is good. Tees are good. Fairways are nice w/ a few spots that need work. Greens were fair. They putted pretty true, but had bare spots on several.

I wish google would let me rate lower. To start off the greens were being air rated so I can understand the sand. What i can't fathom is that they will charge you almost $50 for 18 here at oakview. Apart from the sand the greens had weeds everywhere. Looked like the only maintenance done was some guy tossing sand in random places. The bunkers (where sand should be) were bone dry rock hard clay. Ridiculous. The fairways had two to three inches of grass in some places. Doesn't look like it's been mowed for 3 weeks. The tee boxes were nothing but sand and dirt. Makes every other golf course in ma…

Fun course to play. The front nine is a good warm up while the back nine is a lot more challenging. The greens are usually in good condition. You will want a cart the holes are spaced out in some areas. This course is a great value and very affordable. Cons The practice green could be bigger The bunkers could use some more sand The guy in the pro shop is pretty nosy

Not sure why this hidden gem is a 3.5 Beautiful course I thought Sand traps need some attention but in middle Ga and late summer this course is better than Most

I am currently traveling through Georgia and was hoping to play in the Warner Robins area. However, due to the lack of availability for a single, I started reaching out to courses. Oakview took my call and was very welcoming, as I was looking to get in 18 holes. The price I paid for a Sunday round with a cart was about $43. Seeing other reviews, I knew I wasn't getting Country Club fairways or greens, but I was hoping for a fun round. Overall, for the price and layout, I would bring my friends or wife who are just starting out in golf. The course was slow after 12. I finished 18 holes in 2 hr…

Good price, but the course is in terrible condition. Fairways have holes and cart trails worn in them. So much sand on greens it was like putting in a bucket. Deep enough you could see footprints in it.

If I could rate it lower than 1 star I would. This is possibly the worse course I’ve ever played on. The tee boxes were sandy on some and grassy on others. Some of the fairways, you couldn’t even tell where they started or stopped. It was like hitting out of the rough EVERYWHERE. Then the greens had splotches of bareness in some places and complete sand in others. Will not be back.

A friend and I paid and signed in to play at clubhouse. Questioned and disturbed by multiple people throughout the round on if I had paid or if my friend had paid to play. Fairways like sand and barely mowed , rough greens, overall not a nice experience for golfers. Recommend driving to Hawkensville and playing southern hills. Much nicer and MUCH more courteous staff. Would rather play mini golf than give this place any more money.

One of the worst courses I have ever played. Horrible greens and fairways. Tee boxes look like they have never been worked on. Sand traps will destroy clubs. Pictures online are very deceiving. They also asked me to always let members go ahead of me because that could hit really far even though my handicap is a 4.8. I will never go back.

I had never played at Oakview before despite living in the middle Georgia area for most of my life. I had heard that the course used to be really nice but in recent years had went majorly downhill. I also heard that ownership had changed within the past year or so. I would say that the course conditions are hit or miss. The greens rolled pretty true and you could tell they have been trying to get them back in shape and doing a good job. The fairways were spotty but acceptable for the price point. Most of the bunkers were severely lacking of actual sand and I would say they were definitely the…

I played a full round of Golf at Oakview. It was a good experience, nice course and the rates were fair. I rated Oakview a 1 star because there’s obviously a THEIF who works up there. I played at this course on a Sunday and I left my range finder on one of the carts. I work in construction so I have to travel for work regularly. Sometimes being away from the Macon area for weeks at a time. The very next morning I called up to Oakview and told a gentleman that I had left my range finder and he asked me to describe it. I told him that it was Red and Black as well as the brand. At which point he…
