I really hope the closing for referbishment helps. The front nine was in really bad shape.

Great course. Greens and fairway in good shape, front 9 are absolutely beautiful. Will be back often

The course is laid out well and challenging enough to be fun, but is in serious need of maintenance, repairs, and updating. The potholes in cart paths will jar your teeth out!

Very disappointed in this course! They are in serious need of maintenance… in fact a complete overall is what should happen. The cart path pot holes are a huge safety hazard. Bridges had boards sticking up and bowing. The fairway was a mud pit, grass was not maintained properly. For the price this place charges it should be in much better condition. The staff was nice and accommodating to our concerns and complaints. Oh and the golf carts need vetted better as the first one that was pulled out the parking break wouldn’t even stay in place leaving the cart to just roll. Will not be going back!…

Course is in decent condition but for the price and the amount of rain we’ve had it should be better. What’s the point of having traps if they are just mud and dirt as hard as concrete? Just fill them in! Really thought this course was going to excel after the other course in Lufkin closed down. As for home boy working the front desk. The most unfriendly and grumpy person I have ever had the pleasure of giving money to, I would like to think he was just having a bad day but he’s always that unpleasant. Man I miss Luis….

Neches Pines has a very friendly, knowledgeable team oriented staff. Golf course is a little wet right now due to thunderstorms and continuous downpours for the past several weeks. This golf course has been exceptional in allowing fundraising events for Make-A-Wish Foundation and many others in the past. It's set in a beautiful location, flanked by pine trees, softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, and the Old Orchard Park on the south end which makes it a great way to have family nearby while you're playing a round or two. If you're into a more secluded area, the north end of the golf cours…

It's a pretty good value course... Everyone who works there works hard to maintain and keep it an enjoyable experience to play there... a few patchy fairways and greens aren't prevalent enough to worry with... speed of play is typically fast...lots of wildlife early in the morning....over 200 rounds at this course, and I still want to go play every day...

Course needs serious maintenance Customer service from the older gentleman was awful. Price of the course was insane for the poor overall quality of the entire experience. Go to Livingston and okay the 9-Hole course there or drive to Lufkin. Don’t waste your time!

I’m so disgusted with this place racism is sick!! How dare you tell my 10 year old Nephew to get off the property when he was only bringing a golf ball back. He did not know he wasn’t supposed to come there. I’m being informed that he was talked to rudely. Do better!

Great track! Challenging. Tale of two nines! Top notch staff and the greens are quick. Definitely would recommend playing a round here if you are in the area!
