I'll be 100% honest, I wasn't expecting the quality of food at all. I visited with a group of coworkers, visiting the area on business. The Meating Place was suggested by one of the members of our party. I thought just another restaurant with bar food. I was so wrong. As soon as they started arriving with our food, I was blown away by the smell. Then I started digging into my order and could stop. Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. I will 100% be coming back with my wife, she has to try this place. To the staff of The Meating Place, Thank you so much for the surprise. It doesn't happen…

Course was in awesome shape despite historic rain the week prior. I will honestly say, the nicest clubhouse staff I have ever dealt with. Truly felt welcomed and that they were happy I was there. Make the time to check this place out

Always have such a fun time on the course! Friendly staff and always able to order a drink on the course as needed! Their food at the club house is always delicious and we always get a meal after our round. Would highly recommend!

What a hidden gem!!! I have driven past this place so many times, Never realized how beautiful it is or that there is an awesome restaurant inside the building! The grounds are so clean and nice!! You can smell the delicious food coming from the restaurant while you are golfing. There is a little pro shop where you can purchase a bucket of balls and a wide variety of beverage including alcoholic beverages. I can't find everywhere else! The bar and restaurant are very nice and the workers were extremely friendly and talkative. I cannot wait to go back!!

Mid morning special Mon-Wed 10AM-Noon $35 to ride 18. Burnt out in areas due to little rain we have gotten, course is still in solid shape and I enjoyed it. Nice people and good food at restaurant/bar on site.

Had the boasted chicken, it was flavorful and moist, my side was garlic mashed potatoes which also were very good.

The course is beautiful and in excellent condition. Staff from the pro shop to the restaurant and bar service were personal and friendly. A great value with small town service!

Kasnadra the Manager of this course has terrible customer service. Don't waste your time or money on this course. Expect to make the turn to a 8-some of golfers w 3 kids and 4 golf carts that were not there for the 1st 9 holes. Claims "thats how golf courses work", me: "only if your lazy and want to have zero organization for your loyal customers" Simply based on facts. Your loss not mine.

Fun course. Challenging but not overly difficult. The greens can be a little tough based on pin placement but the greens are average speed enough to still have a chance. Enjoy the wildlife while you're out there.

I’m new to Mayville. Stopped for a fish fry. The price was fair. The fish fry was delicious. It wasn’t greasy or full and the breading was light. Pam’s service was excellent. I will come back. Tina
