So disappointed… First off, they charged my grandpa who has 3 months left to live a $25 riding fee.. I’ve never even heard of that and it’s so inconsiderate. I Paid $10 for a small Gatorade and a water. For the price, the course was absolute butt cheeks. The greens were not mowed at all the day we played. There were weeds knee high around the green. The tee boxes were bare dirt with tall weeds and absolutely beat to crap! Along the fairway, they bulldozed a bunch of downed trees and just left them. Looks like crap!!! Will never be coming back! If you want to golf a nice course for this price,…

Was supposed to play 18 holes but got kicked off after 9 because of rain. They wouldn’t give us our money back and only offered a rain check for the back 9, even though we told them we’re from out of town and will never be back. So basically we paid for 18 and got half. No flexibility, no customer service, no consideration for visitors who spent their day and money here. Don’t waste your time or money at this course.

Fun golf! Great food! Great accommodations! Our group outing reserved the Bergen House at The Ridge. It’s an awesome place where the rooms are comfortable and the common area is the best. A pool table, several tables for cards and a private deck. I would highly recommend a stay for larger groups. As part of The Loon Golf Resort, the ridge is a technical course carved into the woods with narrow fairways. Their premier course, The Loon, is a great place for most golfers. The Lakes, with its namesake lakes is fun too. Enjoy up North golf at The Loon Resort.

Course layout is nice, greens are in great shape.. But unfortunately that's where the good ends... The tee boxes are absolutely horrible, some of the worst I've ever seen. Completely uneven, look like they haven't been cared for in weeks. Bare dirt showing in places. I also reserved the first tee time of the day as I like to play a fast pace and not wait. The staff let me go off even earlier than the start time. But once I finished hole 10, I found out they let a group of 6 out in front of me on the back 9. It completely ruined the experience as they had no golf etiquette of any kind and were…

Only golfed. interesting layout, hilly, lots of carry. Very tree lined so bring extra balls. Only knock is no water on course.

The course was in excellent shape, especially for the end of the season. The rooms were really clean and stocked well. Common areas were also clean. The staff in the clubhouse, restaurant and bar were just great. We really look forward to playing and staying here again. The prices were by far the best in the area for what we got (stay and play 3 days).

A group of us just stayed at the Ridge and played all 3 courses. The weekend was great. Courses were fun and challenging and the staff could not have been better to our group. Rooms were very nice, clean and they kept us all together. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for an easy weekend away.

Course was difficult but in great condition. Greens were a little soft for my liking but rolled true and were in genuinely good shape. Some of the holes definitely need to be played 2 times to know how to properly play them.

Nice course. Kind of tight. You can leave the driver in the bag on several holes. Very wet when we were there. Would like to go back when not so wet.

This place is slowly becoming a staple of our up north golf outings. They usually offer up a pretty solid golf/food deal. The lunches are better than the dinners, but the dinners aren't bad. Service is fine. The golf course is always a great time and well maintained.

Tough course, unless you have your iron game dialed in. Some fun and gimmicky holes as well.
