The club also offers a simple but well-prepared menu, adding to its appeal as a local destination. What a gem right in our own backyard! The Markdale Golf & Curling Club is a beautiful, well-kept course and the whole experience was made even better by one standout team member, Kayla. From the moment we arrived, Kayla greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She went above and beyond at every turn, answering our questions patiently, offering helpful tips about the course, and making sure we had everything we needed before heading out. She remembered our names, checked in on us, and made the whole visit feel personal and welcoming rather than transactional. It’s rare to encounte…

Excellent course. Slops are challenging. Well maintained. Staff are super friendly, well rounded individuals. Overall great experience. Played twice 9 holes. Thank you for a great round. Added to my favourite place to go to. Great price!!

Well maintained course and not crowded. Friendly and welcoming staff. Stopped for dinner and had a great meal. The menu is simple (burgers, fries, wings, salad etc) but each item is well prepared. The chefs are a husband and wife who are local caterers. Well worth a visit - even just to eat (only open Tue, Wed, Fri...I think).

Exceptional value for money 9-hole course that has a number of challenging holes no matter your skill level. Also, good use of elevation throughout the course. I would recommend it.

First time visited. Staffs were very nice and the place wasn't crowded. Will visit again.

A great golf course however, it’s shady practice to sell beer in the clubhouse and then say you can’t offer change when someone pays cash. Not cool at all. Management doesn’t provide a cash float? Sketchy.

Well maintained 9 hole course right in town. Tennis courts could use better maintenance however.

What a great find! My wife and I played...twice on our little getaway weekend. Was only going be once but came back because of the price for a pretty great little course. The staff was helpful and accommodating for us first timers. The course is in good shape and great fun to play.

Nice little country 9 hole course . Not difficult but the 6th hole is as hard as they come. Fairways and tee boxes are a little rough but the greens are a good speed and have a nice roll to them. Nice place to go for an enjoyable 9 holes

The first 9 was absolutely enjoyable, my best game ever. The back 9 wasn't as enjoyable. The demand for carts left groups behide me anger and annoyed. They really need more carts
