Leonard Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained and challenging 9-hole course, featuring diverse and interesting terrain that appeals to a range of golfers. The staff, particularly Mike and Angie, are noted for their friendliness and excellent service, enhancing the overall experience with quality food and drinks in the clubhouse. Great course! Bring a lot of golf balls, but this is one of the best 9-hole courses in the area. Great staff, and as you can see by my pictures, they let anyone play. #inclusivity

Mike and Angie do a wonderful job. Great food, drinks, and service in the clubhouse. The course is always in great condition. Lots of fun course managed tournaments. Added bonus they have a great stay and play package. Check out The Eagles Nest on their website.

Wonderful little gem of a golf course that our friends recommended. The team in the pro shop and bar/restaurant were so friendly. Cody was a great bartender…he was funny and entertaining. Overall, a stupendous experience.

The course is one of the more challenging in the area, but overall nice. There were a few spots along the cart path that have been beaten up due to the rain we’ve received in 2024. Clubhouse was nice and the staff was friendly.

This is a beautiful hidden gem for golfers it's a little bit of a drive but an amazing 9-hole golf course with some really challenging aspects to it. You get a good amount of diversity in the holes from great long holes to some really technical short holes and the landscape is what truly makes us a great course. It's not just a perfectly flat course like you're used to in North Dakota. It has some really cool terrain that make you question your shots and the prices are amazingly reasonable out of there. If you're up for a great round check them out you won't be disappointed.

Sorry, I'm selfish but I really don't want to tell people about this course so that a ton of people come and play it because it truly is a hidden gem hiding in Leonard, ND. Staff is great, the course is always in great condition, and they keep updating and adding to it to make it more challenging. The greens are the best you will find, and if you are like me a 10-15 HCP golfer thinking that this little 9-hole course doesn't have anything to offer you, you are dead wrong. I've shot anywhere from 34 to 47 on this course. If you are on you can score low, if you are off it will have you for lunch.…

Scheduled a 9:30 tee time for yesterday (Friday) which was confirmed by email. Showed up at 9:20 to find pro shop locked and lights off. Called the pro shop multiple times with no answer. Finally decided to leave about 9:40 to go somewhere else. Received an automated email after 10 saying we had "missed our tee time". Very disappointing as we drove about 30 minutes to get here. Definitely would not suggest to others based on this very frustrating experience.

Good family friendly golf course. Brought my 5 year old golfing on a Saturday and no one made me feel like he was an inconvience even though we were definitely holding everyone up.

Leonard CC is a 9 hole course that can be challenging at time's. The green's are smaller than most, with with the hazards being natural prairie grass and deep woods. Theres a water hazard you must cross on the #2 and #9 holes, along with ponds between the 4th fairway and 5th green, and one on the right side of#6.The staff is friendly and do a good job. Recently added a large banquet room for large groups and events.
