In summary

Legend Oaks Golf & Tennis Club is appreciated for its scenic layout and challenging course design, which includes well-maintained bunkers and a variety of water hazards. However, many visitors have expressed concerns about the overall maintenance of the greens, tee boxes, and cart paths, noting that these issues detract from the golfing experience. While the staff receives positive remarks for their helpfulness, some guests have reported dissatisfaction with the dining experience and management's handling of pace of play.

Greens are in great shape, and the guys are doing pretty good with maintaining tee boxes. Beautiful course with a lot of "water in play" situations. The bunks are in amazing shape too! Definitely on my list to return to this course when I'm back in the area!

My wife and I went here for their Sunday $35 a person Prime Rib dinner. Unfortunately, “Prime” had nothing to do with the ribs and what you received for the $35 is an absolute embarrassment to a “Country Club”. In actuality, we really didn’t get a prime rib dinner, what we received was a SINGLE-SLICE of a 1/8 of an inch thick, very gray, dry, tough, piece of meat that was inedible and should have never been served. The dry meat was accompanied by a measly ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and 3 asparagus (or is it asparagi?), and a small cup of gray. In all seriousness, this was a dish you w…

Fun course. I enjoyed it. The clubhouse staff was great as well. Jake Miron and Dominic Zaita answered all the questions I had about the course as I had never played it. I look forward to playing again soon. Thank you, Legend Oaks.

Had a good time playing 18 here. Greens were in decent shape considering the rain but did have bare spots. As others have mentioned the tee boxes were mostly bare. Importantly, the driving range was closed due to rain we had gotten the previous day but the course was open. There was no way to have found that out apparently until after we had arrived early to warm up on the range. I would come back here and play again, just wish they would mention that they close their driving range for rain. Staff was nice and pace of play was fast.

I wouldn’t waste your time. I gave two stars because the layout on a couple of holes was challenging and fun, but the overall condition of the course was in really bad shape. The greens had weed areas making putting impossible and many bare spots are not playable. The tee boxes were bare and full of sand.

My fiance had his bachelor party golf outting there and the owner could not have been more rude. There were a total of 10 guys and 2 of the 3 groups were yelled at by the owner that they were holding up groups behind them. The 2 groups behind my fiancé's (not with them) said there was no issue and that they were not waiting at all. They also commented that the owner has been really awful and the place has gone downhill since he took over. The 2nd of the 3 groups was told to hurry up and they were met at the next hole by an 2 additional groups that were still waiting to tee off. Such a shame th…

I rarely if ever write reviews. My experience today at Legend Oaks motivated me to do so. I live in the area and have played pretty much every course that is public/semipublic in CHAS area. Legend Oaks by a wide margin, is the most poorly maintained golf course in the area. Where do I start. Greens in bad condition with most having large sections of bare spots, tee boxes lacking any grass just hitting off dirt, cart paths so bad you need to go to the dentist to check your fillings and maybe my favorite was mostly bent up bunker rakes missing most of their teeth. Lack of attention to detail is…

I enjoy this course and the layout with large fairways, however the greens could use some work. The cart paths are in horrible condition but I have heard they are looking into redoing them in the off season. I feel the price for what you get is a bit expensive.

Really nice course that was in great shape overall. Only complaint I could think of is that some of the tee boxes could use some TLC. The clubhouse gave off an old school southern golf vibe with the big porch. The food was fantastic!

It was a good public course. It's pretty and has a lot of Interest with water. The greens were very bumpy but that could be (at least partially) due to time of year but the tee boxes need to be evened out. The cart paths are in bad shape. we were able to get on last minute which was nice for us and it was very reasonable. I would come back.

Legend Oaks was in great condition and I would play this course every time if I lived here. The fairways were great, the tee boxes were great, the carts had distances and hole layouts, and the greens were decent for being punched recently, and the layout was awesome. I’d highly recommend because you’re definitely getting your moneys worth.

Pace of play was slow, the tee boxes are in horrible condition, the fairways and roughage have not been well-maintained. I played here several years ago before new ownership took over and loved it. Unfortunately, this course has gone downhill and I will not be playing here again.
