In summary

Lamont Hill Resort Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The on-site restaurant receives high marks for its diverse menu and quality food, particularly the breakfast buffet. However, some golfers have experienced slow pace of play due to large groups, and a few have noted concerns about course management and maintenance.

Excellent restaurant! Friendly fast service and the pies are amazing! Something for everyone on this menu. The BLT was very good the bacon was cooked perfectly. The French fries were crispy and hot. I also had the cherry pie and now I'm hooked. Wait staff is super friendly. We'll definitely be back. Haven't tried dinner yet. Forgot to take pictures of all our food! Will update with pics on our next visit. Definitely worth the drive from Topeka.

This is the main course I go to, as it’s the closest to my home. But I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get out and enjoy some golf. Great food, as well as a driving range.

9 Hole golf course, shorter on yardage. Well manicured and a blast to play. Restaurant has amazing smells and good food as well. Always a freshly stocked salad bar that has better variety than you might expect for a small rural restaurant. I’m not sure whether their breakfast buffet is just on the weekends, but it was fully stocked with fresh options. Too bad I’m vegan as the it looked and smelled amazing. Spent two nights at the Motel to bike the Flint Hills Trail. I’ve biked across the US staying at small Mom and Pop one and two star Motels. This was a nice one for the off season price of $4…

Nice course (9 holes) and reasonable price. However, they allowed two groups of 6 players each in front of us that were holding everyone up. We had to wait at each tee box for quite a while. It took us (2 players) over 3 hours to play 9 holes. I will return, but may rethink future visits if they keep letting large groups (more than 4 players) slow everyone else up.

Nice 9 hole course hidden behind a trailer park. Interesting golf range where you hit into a pasture with cows and sheep. No practice green. If you arrive early enough you can enjoy the breakfast buffet. Golf carts are definitely on the older side.

Decent 9 hole course. Very fairly priced around $30 for 9 holes, cart, and a basket of range balls during the week.

Terrible management, very messy, also me and a group of 8 people were golfing and we were approached on hole 8 out of 9 And we’re told we are holding up the course while one group was behind and the rest were at least 3 holes behind us… management knew of the large group prior to us playing as well. Manager asked if we were golfers applying if we were good or ? I don’t know. Keep in mind we had two holes left… also the 8 players payed 20-30 dollars to play… very poor of them and would not recommend to play there… also ground unkept, holes everywhere… DO NOT RECOMMEND….

Fun course with enough bunkers and water to make it challenging. The staff is awesome too. If you get a chance stop in for breakfast or lunch, the fried chicken is very tasty!

It's a really nice course. Much nicer than I expected without knowing anything about it. And I shot my best round ever there so that's good. 10/10 would recommend.

Lamont Hill is a true diamond in the rough and getting better every year, especially when they start cutting the greens. Sand traps need help, however the new fairways are coming along real nice
