In summary

Lakeview Golf Club offers an affordable and compact course that appeals to budget-conscious and beginner golfers, with friendly staff and a convenient location. However, some visitors report issues with course maintenance, including rough greens and poorly maintained fairways, as well as negative experiences with customer service and course management. Despite these challenges, the course is noted for its efforts to improve conditions and its suitability for honing short game skills.

I would have put less stars than one but you can't! The staff were friendly and helpful. The course was the worst maintained course I ever played on! Often had to move the ball in the fairway to find a clump of grass. The greens varied from green and shaggy to bare and bumpy. Save your money - give it a miss.

This is without a doubt the worst course you could possibly go to if you’re trying to have a nice time. From the cart guy to the old miserable lady who was supposed to be a receptionist, they were all very rude and condensing. I went with a group of 5, and we split up 3 and 2 because of the courses rules, and twice we got harassed by some random worker on a cart claiming that we were playing with 5. Just an overall terrible experience, so please save your money and most importantly your time. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP!

Executive course par 60 - pretty short. All par 4s can be reached by a talented enough golfer. Fairways in good condition. Unfortunately likely won't return due to very rough greens. They don't roll very true and are very slow. Course price pretty cheap so definitely for the amateur golfer.

After playing many courses throughout the country for many years this was the first time I was expected to wait on the ground keepers. On multiple occasions they started cutting the grass in the middle of our play. These pictures are from standing in the Tee box waiting to hit and the grounds keeper literally pulled the pin and started fertilizing. We called the clubhouse to inform them of the continued problem and was told to take of it ourselves. I wouldn't recommend playing here after this experience. It's sad really after we spend our money to be treated like this.

First golf course I went on, good course for beginners. Good rental prices for whatever you need.

Worst golfing experience in 15+ years. The cart manager has no idea what he was doing and started insulting my group with harmful phrases. The man could hardly speak English. Ended up being a complete waste of time, just glad I didn’t pay before showing up. I advise you to spend the extra money and go to any different course.

I got a cheap tee time for $18 with a cart included, and as a casual golfer I thought it was a very good value. Fairways are fairly nice, and the water hazards were actually very challenging. I had a lot of fun. Some of the greens are a little sandy, but they're planning a major overhaul of the course in the coming months, and I think it's going to be a great course. Will definitely return.

Lakeview Golf Course in Delray Beach is a gem for budget-conscious golfers like us. Golf can be pricey, but the experience is worth it. This compact yet challenging course adds to the thrill with its resident iguanas scurrying about. We've returned for the fourth time and appreciate the no-frills rental clubs that do the job. The friendly ladies at the Golf shop always greet us with a smile and willingly share insights about the course. During our recent visit, the greens were under construction, making it quite an adventure navigating through the wildlife-filled out-of-bounds areas. The gree…

I’ve been golfing here 20 years and today with a 1230 tee time the woman at the front desk basically talked me out of golfing because their rain check policy. Forecast says it will clear up between 130-2pm. Golf course is empty. It’s as if they don’t want business. 🤔
